I voted for Dragon, thinking of Spike... and didn't even realize that there were other dragons in the show until later. I wonder how many others thought along similar lines, or the opposite (thought of the big beats in Dragonshy and Owl's Well, while forgetting Twilight's companion/sidekick?)

And on further thought, I think griffin shouldn't have been in the poll, and diamond dogs shouldn't have been in there either (swap them out with hydra) because I see those two more as races, appearing to be civilized groups like the ponies, than as creatures who live mostly solitary, uncivilized lives.

Also Philomena is 10 times the jerk that Gilda will ever be. Gilda vented at Fluttershy, roared at her and made her cry. Philomena, made Fluttershy believe that she was responsible for the bird's death (or at least was unable to prevent it) as well as making her risk banishment. I'm sorry, who's more of a jerk?
How about favourite fanfic tags? Well, that´s not about the show. Worth a try anyway.

I have no clue if this kind of poll has been done before or not, but how about favorite pony type? Earth, pegasus, unicorn, alicorn, zebra. That gives you five options there, enough to keep us occupied for a few days (which is all we really need, just a couple more weeks until season two, woohoo!)

- Lyra as seen in Winter Wrap Up (bouncing with a VERY excited look in the back of the crowd at the beginning of the episode, about 2 and a half minutes in)
- Rarity as seen in Green is Not Your Color (bursting with excitement in front of her friends... and bouncing on Spike's tail after Photo Finish leads her to believe she was going to 'shine across Equestria')
- Pinkie Pie as seen in The Best Night Ever (when she firsts enters the main hall in Canterlot and becomes uncontrollably excited in front of the crowd of complete strangers)

Yes. I haven't got the foggiest idea what to vote for. Also, I don't know if it's just a case of alternate spelling (like "Doughnut" and "donut"), but, I, myself have always been used to the spelling of "Griffin". Then again, really haven't been thinking much of them in the first place!
