I'm not huge on Castlevania, but the lip syncing is pretty great.
Nightmare Moon is set to return every century (rather than every 1000 years; it's an adaptaion, after all). It's during that time the ponies that would represent the six Elements of Harmony: Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty and Magic would unite together in an attempt to defeat Nightmare Moon and prevent eternal night from happening. After her last defeat, Equestria enjoyed four years of peace, until Trixie, using dark magic, had resurrected the spirit of Nightmare Moon and began corrupting ponies, who wielded the Elements of Harmony, and purging their memories. Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy (altough only partially) were turned into Nightmare Moon's servants. Applejack and Twilight Sparkle avoided the corruption, only because Applejack was searching for Rainbow Dash, the pony who defeated Nightmare Moon four years ago, and vanished.However, she did not escaped the memory purge. Twilight wasn't corrupted at all, as she decided to enter a deep slumber after Nightmare's Moon's defeat at her hooves, to contain her magical potential and keep it from going out of control.
It all goes to a waste when Trixie's plan is enacted. With Princess Celestia and Luna banished to the sun and the moon respectively, it's up to Twilight Sparkle to save Equestria from the eternal night. Assisted by her familiar, Spike, she goes on her crusade against Nightmare Moon.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite game combined with my favorite show? Awesome. I enjoyed it, it was about as good as it could be with clips from the first season. I lol'd at the librarian, wasn't expecting that character choice.

I haven't played a Castlevania game in a long time. I liked the video. Pretty good job on it. "Begin by slaying that one over there." *Derpy* Haha. That gave me a laugh.
Also, Trixie as an evil Sorceress. :D
The end was kinda sad. I'll admit, I got slightly teary-eyed. lol But I'm glad the dead ponies were revived and it all worked out. :)
Despite the fact I never played the game, I find this strangely entertaining. I can recommend it :)

ReplyDeleteI GREATLY enjoyed this and the ponified ending to this. I really liked the syncing (I noticed a few parts of dialogue were missing, but understandable), but some parts (mainly the fighting) could have been better, but you did good seeing how there's all of two battles in FiM. Anypony who is a a die-hard Castlevania fan (or just know Symphony of the Night by heart) will enjoy this :D

ReplyDeleteI think my least favorite thing about this blog is how every time anything cool or interesting in the slightest is posted, no matter who of the three webmasters here posted it, they always make sure to remind is they're "not too into" whatever it is, whether it's something that has nothing to do with ponies, or even if it's a specific pony or kind of pony or etc.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know why you feel the need particularly to say you're not too big on Castlevania, I don't see what at all that adds to the post really; even if it meant no POSITIVE freaking out either, i'd rather my news not have this whole DOWNER feel EVERY SINGLE POST
But either way, this is amazing and I love it a lot
I think I fixed most, if not all mistakes. Some letters were unneeded or missing in the ending credits.
