  • Pipecleaner Ponies

    by Sethisto
    So great and Powerful~
I didn't even know pipe-cleaners were CAPABLE of this.  These things are amazing.  I can't imagine how difficult it is do build a pony out of this kind of medium. All of these, and more, can be found at Ponycrafter's DA page.

I did not know that's what pipe cleaners were for.

...the only thing I've ever done with them was clean tiny pipes and tie them in knots. >.>

And to think, I've been wasting my life up to this point using pipe cleaners to clean guns :(

These really are amazing. I wish we could get some other item in the pictures to see their true scale.

The models are spot on and it's well done. I'd love to see a tutorial or some sort of starting tips on how to do these. Re-coloring and re-hairing pony toys may be a bit out of my skill range, but perhaps pipe cleaners aren't as difficult to work with?

The thing that amazes and frustrates me is that an artist with a few pipe cleaners can come up with something far superior to anything that Hasbro has produced so far.
