Wow, okay, I want to use the Gala wallpaper for something, but I checked the artist's dA page and it says he's going to be in South Africa for the next two years and won't be in contact with anyone :C. So much for that idea.

ReplyDeleteI checked out his journal, his front page, and the comments on the deviation. The only usage thing I saw was that he said the vectors are free to use, but that doesn't apply to the wallpapers. So I know I can't use it, but I was hoping to be able to beg an exception.

ReplyDeleteWallpaper posts are like rare gems on this sight. Everthing else seems to happen too often to really be special. And wallpaper posts never let me down.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that Illusive Pony for me is kind of like laughing at a joke I don't get. It's SOOO awesome, but I think it would be more awesome if I'd ever played Mass Effect or had the means to do so.

ReplyDeleteI put one together myself like the last one, but it was simpler and in a pop-art style. I've kept it to myself as I don't know who the artist is that produced the original designs.

ReplyDeleteI'm really not in for backgrounds that are too...full. That's the best word I have for it :P
I prefer darker backgrounds with only a few visual elements on it, like a picture in the corner, a non-figurative part on the other, something like that.
Anyways, maybe that's why I like his backgrounds. Very neatly done yet they wont burn my eyes out :)
