I know it's weird but... I never watched Power Ranger as a kid, so the first one kinda flew right past me head... I HAVE seen a fair amount of PR stuff on the internet to get it though, such a silly concept. XD

I find the second one amusingly adorable. It's complicated indeed. Gilda and Trixie, bitter, unloved and desperate girls, pining for mares that don't want them. They look... Sweet together. It makes me forget I dislike them, and makes me root for them.

#1 - Amazing to portray the six mane ponies as kidvid TV heroes whose show killed Sonic the Hedgehog's SATAM cartoon - and they look a little funny with their manes out of sight. Hope a future MLP:FiM episode will portray at least one (or all) the ponies, even briefly...BALD!!!
