I just checked the episode, since I had never seen it myself -- it's just Lyra sitting like that. Some blue pony with light grey hair is with her, sitting in a normal pony way. Bonbon is elsewhere in the park, though joins up with Lyra later (away from the bench).
So. Adorable.

Pacing and art on that one were very good, the eye naturally followed the narrative events in the correct order and without spoilering the next part. Lovely.

the bawww from the second one was so cute it nearly made me sick, i luckily looked away in time, that is almost too cute, luckily my head hasn't exploded from the cute overloads.
ReplyDeleteI really love the charachterization given to Luna in the 2nd comic, as it reminds me of all the BEST luna fics, she is exactly like this, simply very emotional and scared, and simply lonely. It was just her tragic lot to be born with the moon. Celestia has always been more mature. She could have handled being the moon guardian better. Here, you can easily see a Tagic, lonely soul who only wants a friend to be easily taken advantage of the one who made her NMM.
