Rumor one: I'm going out on a limb and say someone posted a picture of Gummy and Angel fighting to the death. That got all the ponies all hot and bothered which made the server overheat.
Rumor Two: I bet it was one of them damn drybags on the "Conservative Forum"!
Rumor Three: Parasprites.
Rumor Four: I know what it was. Just before it happened somepony got quads with a picture of Sweetie Bell. That's like spitting in Celestia's face.
Rumor Five: Somepony set us up the the low orbiting ion cannon.(I hope not!)

There's a 500 server error. Something went wrong, but 500 is generic, so nobody knows exactly what. my guess? Derpy's pulling wires again.

ReplyDeleteThere was a post on some "Conservative Forum" bashing MLP:FiM, but I heard the forum is just a parody. I lean conservative myself, but you have to admit that there's no shortage of closed-minded "manly men" on the Right.
I find it funny that I was viewing a Derpy image right before it happened.

ReplyDeleteWell, we could have like a sleepover at some other brony community. Let's see what our options are:
- FiMchan - Hmm, not a good idea. If ponychan servers couldn't take it, no way FiMchan can.
- /co/ - The latest reports I've seen lead me to believe that /co/ hates our guts for some reason, so that may not be a good destination.
- /b/ - ... yeah, the /b/ronies probably wouldn't mind us too much crashing their chainthread, but /b/ isn't really for everyone. Still, it's probably the best of these options.
We could also sit right here and wait for updates, I guess!

Given EQ's giga-normous expansion over these past few months, it's probably safe to say that the ponychan userbase has expanded even more so. Just got back from lurking a /b/rony thread and everything seems pretty chill. No Mods breathing down your throats, no one threatening to take down ponychan, and so it doesn't look like a conspiracy (probably why Sethisto listed LOIC as rumor 5 and not 1) . As everyone has already said, servers were probably taxed. It'll be back up in no time.
Ponychan + Down = Me being very lonely and bored.

I'm from Ponychan. No matter how much /co/ hates us, I don't hate them. I may not like how rude they are, or how they just assume what Ponychan is like (One of them claimed Ponychan was all porn. Really? I mean, really??), or how elitist they can get, but we're all watching the same show. We're all "looking at the same rainbow" here. Maybe someday we can put our differences aside and get along. Or at least stop lashing out at each other.
