Cutie Mark Crusader Magicians! Yeah, this can only end well. Maybe they should solicit the advice of a certain Great and Powerful somepony. On second thought, that's really no better. Good evening. I had a very rough day today between going around in circles working on a car I'm still a long ways off from fixing and my cable services being shut off. Oof.

Discussion: Is Celestia Seen as a Diety?

The fandom often replaces Celestia with "God" when we write our fanfics, at least when it comes to regular English slang phrases. How do you think your average Equestrian actually sees her though? It's no secret that they'd all freeze or burn if someone wasn't moving the sun and moon, but we've also seen her power done by Twilight. 

Time for discussion! What exactly is Celestia's role in the pony cosmos? Is she a demi-god? Or just super powerful magic user?
