Source What's your craziest fan theory/head-canon? Got any weird theories for anything in universe?
I don't personally have that many radical fan theories, but I think that there's a good chance the statue from the end of season 9 broke open before G5. Whether or not you think the G5 writers care about that (they don't), it would only make sense if you think about the break down of all magic for an indeterminate and presumably long time. Perhaps Discord took it upon himself to do something about it, and that is why he is not around in the show? At this point I am presuming the comics are a totally separate universe than the show. I really doubt there will be any big crossover there.

Well we're at issue 3 of a 4 issue comic book adaptation of an all time Classic American Fairy Tale.
Which means it's time to go see the witch. Which old witch?
Queen Chrysalis.
I wonder if the comic will show her death since Hasbro is allergic to characters dying in a comic...
Or maybe something has changed and Chrysalis will end up Defying Gravity.
Also, we have every member of the Mane 6 accounted for except for Rainbow Dash. I wonder if she'll show up in this issue for a cameo appearance or something.
Anyways folks, it's time to warm up those vocal cords.
