With the comic release today, we had our first return of an old G4 character, something that was unexpected before we started getting teasers for them. It's obvious that the show will be digging into the history of old Equestria, but with the way magic seems to consistenly lock things away for thousands of years in horseland, it's not impossible that we might end up seeing other characters make a return as well.
Should this just be a neat things the comics do though? Or do you want them in the actual series too?

As I am sure at least some of you are aware, this issue contains massive backstory revelations for Generation 5 of My Little Pony.
This is not an exaggeration. What does this mean?
Well from this issue, and how the animate cartoons Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale interface with each other, to me it looks like Hasbro is attempting to turn Generation 5 of My Little Pony into a single continunity multimedia universe like Star Wars.
