How to Sex a Kirin

The big kirin mystery has finally been solved! After years of debating what makes a kirin male or female, we've finally got a big reveal out of Big Jim over on Twitter.

Eyelashes are the only difference between the males and females, due to time constraints.

This also means Autumn referring to Cinder Glow as a "dude" in the play was just Cinder playing a role.

2019 really is the year of information. Expect more hard hitting news here on Equestria Daily as we fall further and further into pony induced insanity.

MLP Tribute Reimagining Music: Marcus Warner - Friendship is Magic 2019 [Orchestral]

After all these years, Marcus Warner (who we remember fondly for his pony songs as Evening Star from back in the day) saw fit to breathe new life into some of his pony goldies of the past, and first up is the reimagining of his original tribute to the FiM Theme Song! Such a rich and gorgeous new Orchestral composition covering those emotional melodies is definitely a treat, and it gives an idea of what to expect for this upcoming Reprise EP!

Another MLP Alternate Song - A Kirin Tale

I have a feeling a lot of these posts are going to be happening over the next few days, but for now lets just celebrate this one in particular. You all know I love me some Kirin, and this alternate version of Autumn Blaze's song in Sounds of Silence is tops, with a completely different singer, vastly different feel, and new lyrics. It has popped up on Youtube.

Kerfuffle Music: BlackIceMusic - The Fuff [Melbourne Bounce]

BlackIceMusic's contribution to Ponies at Dawn Eternal is so much fun, and very cute too! For it includes many vocal samples from the Rainbow Roadtrip special, including Sunny Skies madness, Petunia Petals' "you big doofus" in response to Loophoof's call, and of course all the FUFF! Listening to this song feels like hanging out with Kerfuffle and reliving the atmosphere of Rainbow Roadtrip! And check out that very fine Melbourne Bounce instrumental that is definitely very bouncy! A masterpiece for sure!

A Bunch of Video Makers Create Tributes to the End of G4 MLP

The video editing side of the fandom has always been a huge chunk of what people watch for their extra-curricular pony goodness. Needless to say, the end of the show is something that has touched them directly with how close they come to each frame of the show when building their montages and PMV's.

An artist named Luke Buxton has uploaded a bunch of incredible concept pieces he did while working on the My Little Pony movie back in 2017. His account has a full gallery of what he painted and drew for it. That amazing drawing up above is just a taste. This stuff is on another level.

Post-Finale Music: Vylet Pony - My Letter to the Princess [Indie Pop/Alternative Electronic]

While we know that this is more of a "see you later" than a farewell, as the ponies will always be right beside us in our hearts and there's G5 to look forward to as well, writing a proper sendoff and letting everypony contribute was such a wonderful idea!! My Letter to the Princess is Vylet's heartfelt expression of feelings toward the show and the community, and it features over 60 of our brethren who participated in the choir of the last verse! Such initiatives are always so lovely to see, and this collab came out amazingly!
