Following the Fall, Halloween, and Xmax updates, popular fan game Pony Town is getting the Island update, and game composer John Doe aka Wandering Artist is delighting us once again with his work! This field theme for the new island map is so very fitting, and calls back to other Bossa Nova-like BGM tracks for beach/island areas in games such as Galdin Quay from Final Fantasy XV. The J-RPG gamer and OST lover that I am is so pleased! Grab this track along the other BGM present in the album of the update on Bandcamp!

Apparently the word "Derpy" has been banned in Xbox Live usernames according to someone attempting to change their tag to "Derpy Hooves". Apparently having "Derpy" in the name made it illegal.
Support noted that the users current name with Derpy in it would be grandfathered, but if he changed it he wouldn't be able to get it back.
Why they banned Derpy will probably forever be a mystery, but for now, you will have to pick a different name.

According to Nick Confalone, it appears that Sunset's Backstage Pass is going to be our last of the Equestria Girls specials unfortunately, coming as a surprise even for the team behind the specials. Looks like as pony starts to wrap up that we are seeing parts of Equestria Girls wrap up as well.

Blackened Blue did it again! Blasting full force the power of rock music, the musician decided to pay tribute to King Sombra this time, and to Vylet Pony and Namii's original track The King Is Back at the same time! Absolutely blissful guitar riffs and drums are taking our soul away as the mighty screaming vocals bring in that classic and magical contrast with the charismatic clean vocals, making for much emotion all around. And Blackened even adapted the lyrics! A masterpiece of a cover/remix, for sure!!
