Newbie Artist Training Grounds IX: Day 19

Our poor ponies tonight, so many of them sick and trying their very best to get better. Unfortunately for us humans there are times when we are sick or not feeling well but still have to go to work or finish things. The world sadly doesn't stand still for us while we wish we can just curl up and sleep it off. I know there have been some days for at least some of you during the NATG where it has felt like that, but you guys have come back and made up the drawings you missed or you struggled on anyway! Just make sure to not overdo it and to take care of yourself.

As for today we managed to pull in 78 ponies which brings us up to 2030 ponies, finally breaking 2k! Congratulations everyone! Ready to shoot for 3k?

For today's prompt I thought we needed something that could be a bit more action oriented and let us work on a different set of expressions. Our ponies get into all sorts of trouble, but sometimes that trouble is of the greatest sort so for today I'd like you guys to Draw a pony in a dire situation / Draw a pony as the unlikely hero.

Fizzlepop Berrytwist Music: StableTwoStallion - Tempest Shadow [Industrial Gothic Metal]

The fourth entry in StableTwoStallion's streak of Neue Deutsche Härte-inspired pony music, this one is about Tempest and I feel like she's the perfect pony for such a ponification! There's something about her colors and her aura in her villain arc, that fits so well to Industrial Metal. StableTwoStallion's tribute features impressive vocals and a delightful instrumental of many dark wonders, and even awesome 3D artworks in the video! Witnessing a gig of Tempest Shadow and her band playing this kind of music, would be quite a feast. Thank you StableTwoStallion for this amazing experience that we get through the music!

Twilight Sparkle Returning to Build-A-Bear

According to the Spokane Valley Mall, Twilight Sparkle will apparently be returning for another round at Build-A-Bear for anyone that missed her the first time and still wants one.

As with her last release, you can buy her solo as a plushie, or pick up the extra accessories.

Be sure to call your local store first to make sure she is in stock before making the trip. This could be a limited release to specific stores.

Starlight & Luna Music: Tw3Lv3 - Starlight's Dream [Lo-fi]

Tw3Lv3 is on a roll lately! And this time he had the marvelous idea of making a chill Lo-fi song that provides such a blissful atmosphere... along that sampled scene with Luna appearing in Starlight's dream! It feels so awesome reliving that scene along the music, that backs it up perfectly, before continuing with the chill vibes and tasty sound design. Very dreamy, emotional, and making us feel closer to Starlight, this track is quite a gem!

Rainbow Road Trip: Episode Followup

For the last time ever, the mid-season hiatus is upon us. Production on the show has ended, and some of the big conventions are gearing up for their last hurrah.

The Baker that Baked the Stoney Pony Marijuana Cake Was Fired

In a sad turn of events, the baker we reported on last week that created the Stony Pony cake was apparently fired by her manager, even though the customers that received it found it absolutely hilarious.

According to the employee, her manager watched her pull the pictures from the internet, signed off on the design, and even handed it over to the customers. The company offered her position back, but she refused due to the negative treatment.
