Hasbro has teamed up with IDW to bring on a new collection called "Synergy: A Hasbro Creator Showcase". The goal is to celebrate all of the women of the industry along with major female characters that take place within major their brands via a series of original comics and autobiographies starring only the ladies in all aspects of each project, from illustration to writing. Katie Cook over on Instagram announced this little blurb:
Revealing her role in the project being a major pony milestone in her childhood. Polygon mentions comics inspired by GI Joe, Transformers, and Holograms, though doesn't specifically point out pony there.
Keep an eye out for the collection in March of 2019. We will get updates out as more information arrives.

As announced back on December 3rd, Tumblr's purge of adult content officially begins today. They have been mass flagging everything from actual clop to curvy pieces of driftwood for the past half a month now, and as of today anything flagged will automatically be removed. It is still unknown how exactly they will be going about their deletion of the many NSFW blogs that people have relied on and built up over the last decade, but it is officially against the rules starting now.
Rumor has it that this was due to their app being banned on the iOS marketplace. There are probably a host of reasons though. Even Patreon has always been a somewhat gray area with Paypal and other major money management platforms disliking adult content for whatever reason.
Apparently the plan is to email people when they break the rule to ask for a manual appeal, but most are just leaving the platform entirely. In fact, we have a list going of artists who have already evacuated. Feel free to submit yourself if you want to be added to it.
For now, the party seems to be moving primarily to Twitter where artists can continue to grow a following while also posting things outside of the pony spectrum. This was one of the main draws of Tumblr that fandom focused sites can't quite appeal to. Most of the big name artists have already made the switch, with both NSFW and SFW accounts.
We will continue to cover how this whole thing plays out. Hopefully enough people will follow who they like so the artists out there aren't hurt too badly.
