It seems a person who helped out creating a place of enjoyment for many in the community is in financial trouble.
MLP-MSP was a My Little Pony convention that started in 2014 and ran for three years in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. The convention has since folded and due to unfortunate circumstances the financial responsibility has fallen solely on Chase, one of the founders.
As of this moment Chase cannot keep up with the payments and possibility could end up homeless. Therefore with the help of Ponyville Ciderfest con chair Charlie Worthley a GoFundMe has been set up to support Chase

I've heard some of you mention the game Rise of the Clockwork Stallions to me before as being a pretty awesome game and that I should give it a try. Unfortunately for fans of the game I have some sad news for you.
Starting the 1st of August the developer's site will no longer be hosting the game. As the developers move on to indie games they are clearing their website of any works they have that use other intellectual property.
If you haven't played the game yet and have been procrastinating on downloading it for yourself (like I have) grab it now before you lose your chance!

NeverLastStanding's remixes are generally super upbeat and happy, with this one absolutely fitting that mold! A True True Friend has a wonderful message to it, and NLS' intent was obviously to portray that in musical form with some really lovely fun progressions. Check it out below for a super uplifting time, and some sweet vocal chops too!

Change, in some form or another, is almost inevitable for any TV show that lasts a while. Friendship is Magic, now in the middle of its eighth season, is no exception. This show's changed a lot since it first trotted onto the small screen back in 2010. Wings have been slapped onto ponies, treebraries have been blown to smithereens, and once-evil ponies have been learned the magic of friendship and become a member of the main cast.
But those big events that make the fandom implode aren't the only things that've changed over the years. There are plenty of things in FiM that have been altered and haven't been discussed to death, brought back to life, kicked in the shins, burned, tarred and feathered, thrown into a nuclear testing range, and finally launched into low Earth orbit in a rocket with the words "do not open, dead horse beaten to a pulp inside" scrawled on the door.
You know, the stuff that isn't related to Larson sticking a pair of wings onto Twilight or Glim Glam joining the show. The parts that didn't make people go into a frenzy when they were changed
And what better time to briefly look at why and how those parts of the show (and the parts in low Earth orbit) changed over the years than when the mid-season hiatus is driving us all insane?

EFNW 2019 may be a little less than a year away but they have already gathered a large VIP lineup to help make the event the best it can be! Discovery Family's "GO!" app has popped up Rollercoaster of Friendship for anyone that wants to own it. You can purchase a streaming copy there if you are in the USA, though we haven't had confirmation yet on other countries which tend to slip under the radar on this thing.

It's been a long time since Luna Jax's last track, but this one is definitely worth the wait. With some help on guitars and mixing from 4Everfree, the instrumentation is soft and gentle, with some nice emotion to the guitars especially, whilst Jax's vocals are lovely and fit perfectly into the song. Check it out below for a bit of wonderfulness!

Discovery Family might be pulling another surprise if Zap2it is any indication. The future season 8 episode "Yackity-Sax" is listed for a July 20th release. Considering it was teased in the summer promo, there is a very good chance that this is happening.
To avoid anyone missing the episode like last week, we are going to just go ahead and schedule stream parties that day. Worst case is we all get to watch an old episode or something else. It sounds like Summer Surprises are all new content though. So expect to see some madness on the 20th!
