Elias Frost's new project is finally out, with a 3-track, 25-minute long EP of lovely orchestral productions that each tell their own story. With a piece about Daring Do, and two more about the Sirens confronting the Pillars of Equestria, and then Sunset Shimmer, there's a nice combination of different ideas that come together through some terrific composition to create some terrific tales. It looks like Chrysalis has ulterior motives for not wanting to go all colorful bug thing. According to Big Jim, some changelings have completely lost the ability to fly with their transformation into the new race.
There weren't any details, so maybe they can pop wings out if they turn into a pegsus or something else?

I can definitely appreciate how with every release, Osoch seems to be striving to explore a different style of acoustic production. This time he's gone for something more chilled out and new age, whilst still making use of his rock-y roots. The percussion is groovy, and the use of synth pads is thoroughly immersive. In this mornings edition of "slow news day", we have the incredibly important change made over on Australia for their My Little Pony DVD boxes. If you missed are post on another slow news day a few weeks ago, their first edition of the release had "little" spelled with one T. Truly a travesty.
Luckily it has been fixed. Coco Pommel would be proud. Why Coco Pommel? Cause I'm in the mood for Coco Pommel.

Faulty continues to nail that Archie-style house formula, with this awesome track based on a character from P-Berry's fanfic 'Anywhere But Here'. Some nicely voiced lines from CadetRedShirt build into an upbeat and energetic yet slightly sad drop, which is really super catchy, and gets better second time around with a killer lead synth. Hmm, what do you think? Would it make sense for Sunset to be Elsa? I'm not sure myself as I've personally never seen Frozen so I have no idea.
