In a tweet chain discussion the 44 minute long Friendship is Magic Holiday / Hearths Warming special, Mike Vogel popped in and was asked if he wrote it. As is the norm for his Twitter responses, he gave the teasing "can't really say anything" response, but it's still a pretty good hint!
Considering he was behind our glorious Snowfall Frost filled "Hearths Warming Tail" episode, I'm definitly hoping this is the case.

Seems there is a good reason to head out to Ludwigsburg, Germany this summer. A little while ago, GalaCon announced the dates for the 2018 edition of the con. On the 28th and 29th of July, 2018 there will be lot of pony to be had at the Forum Am Schlosspark.
For those wanting to help out at the convention, GalaCon has also opened volunteer applications. Details on that can be found over here.

As one of the few musicians left from the 2011 pony music era, it's awesome to see a new release from Thorinair after a few years since his last one. The first release from an upcoming album he has planned, this track makes gorgeous use of an ambient soundscape, whilst also building up to a few emotional crescendos as well. Check it out below!
