…in 2017. What did you think Equestria Daily was going to stop bringing you the exclusive reveals for the MLP Comics thanks to friends at IDW Publishing anytime soon? For shame!

Anyways, for the first offering in the month of March of 2018, IDW is taking a trip on their wayback machine—kids ask your parents—and going back to the '80s! And as we all know, that's a decade Cheerilee knows very well.

Chronicle of the Early Show in PMV Form - Medicine

GhostXb always seems to be trying out new styles and different ways of doing things, and this new track with a few friends is yet another awesome example of that. Featuring a bunch of vocalists, the harmonies throughout the track are super interesting, and the orchestral-tinged acoustic feel fits well with it. Check it out below!

EDITORIAL: The Human Costs of Art Theft

This is a huge departure from what I normally write on Equestria Daily. Usually it's just a couple of quick paragraphs to get the readers excited for the latest news from IDW Publishing on their My Little Pony Comics. Comic Previews, Solicitations, SPOC Sneak Peeks, and posts for when new comics are out, I'm EQD's go to guy for all of it.

However… on the weekend where the biggest movie of the year should have been the only piece of media news in the world, where families spread out across several generations come to experience something magical, and where a toy company like Hasbro should have been looking at all their movie related merchandise fly off the shelves (both physical and digital), the unthinkable happened.

I'm pretty sure everyone who read this blog, or any of the pony blogs, over the weekend knows exactly what the unthinkable is. After the break you'll be able to find my thoughts, views, and opinions of what happened. Though to give a small spoiler: I couldn't be any further away from feeling happy about this if I tried.

My Little Pony: The Movie Now Available to Watch on Amazon

The My Little Pony Movie has offiically released over on Amazon in digital form. The physical copies are still set for January 9th, but you can view it through Amazon video now if you don't care about not having it on your shelves.

Last month Mikuma released an awesome future bass-y track called Raindrops, and here they have showcased a totally different version of it that, personally, I prefer a lot more. A generally more laid back feel complements the vocals excellently, and the vocal chops later on in the track are wonderfully implemented. Check it out below!
