Drum & Bass tunes of polarising atmosphere here, from some of the giants of the genre. DJT combines with NeverLastStanding to produce an awesome high-energy and super upbeat piece that's full of vocal chops, strong bass hits, heavy war drums and some beautiful synth melodies. In the second piece DerpyCrash combines with Hay Tea to bring a much darker and grittier piece that has a lot of awesome atmospheric feels to it, and gorgeous rolling bass design that meshes excellently with the percussion choices. The Ponytones are a new band focused on producing ponifications of mainstream songs, and they've started off with a fun little parody of The Beatles 'I Want To Hold Your Hand', reminiscent of the old Beatle Bronies band. The instrumental is really well done and the vocals from Wootmaster are a lot of fun. Check it out below the break!

Today's the day folks! A brand new My Little Pony chapter book series has been released by Little, Brown and Company everywhere books are sold! And if you ordered from Amazon, more than likely these books are waiting for you in your mailboxes. Which makes them perfect reading over the Independence Day Holiday!

In an interview with a brony podcaster named TookKriticY2k, M.A. Larson was asked about his future of writing for pony. Apparently this happened last month, but flew under the radar.
In the response, he had quite a bit to say about how the show used to work back during the Lauren Faust era vs. today, along with the challenges of working from Los Angeles on a show being produced in Canada. It sounds like pony has a lot of hands in the cookie jar now that it's so big. We even got an extra dramatic ending to "Make New Friends but Keep Discord" with a much darker Discord.

Two very different but very awesome orchestral metal pieces here! First up is Frozen Night, with a beautiful new track that utilises guitar elements to help push the epic feel of their piece, helped along by beautiful composition, powerful vocal chants and heavy percussion. The second track is a more orchestral-accented progressive metal piece from Reverbrony that focuses on heavy guitar sounds and aggressive drums, but also makes fantastic compositional usage of strings to create an anthemic battle-ready vibe.
