Reverbrony's tried something different to usual here, with a slowly building piece that combines a whole host of exotic sounds before building into the aggressive metal feel he is more usually known for. The whole piece has a pretty eerie feel to it, and it's nice to hear some cool conga percussion in the break between heavier parts. Give it a listen below the break!

Hasbro has released their quarterly investor presentation for the first part of 2017, and though there isn't a whole lot of pony mentioned in any of the categories, the conference call did have a small nugget of information revealed about the big toy line releases we have seen pop up on Amazon and other sites these last few weeks. While we've already seen leaks and will probably see random ones pop up in major stores, it looks like Hasbro's real goal is to push them to retail in August.
As for the exact sets this includes, it wasn't detailed. Chances are it will be a lot of those pieces sites like Toywiz and Entertainment Earth are listing right now for June. They tend to not be completely accurate with their dates.

Lectro Dub has just released a huge album full of 'demo' projects in various stages of finished called Unfinished Business that he doesn't think are quite up to scratch enough to release as proper songs. I don't know about the rest of them, but this one is certainly pretty awesome! A cool combination of heavy rock vibes, some electronic synth design and awesome gritty vocals definitely give this a strong changeling feel. Give it a listen below the break!

We have some interesting behind the scenes coming from the ever-interesting Twitter of Big Jim. According to him, Season 7 episodes are still under production and airing about 7-8 weeks after completion. He also points out that the Treehouse TV early releases will soon be impossible as production won't be able to keep up with their rapidfire schedule.

Another weird bit of random merch has appeared in our inbox for all of you cooks or painters out there. A new Rainbow Dash themed apron has arrived, with the head removed to be replaced with yours. Truly we have merchandised everything at this point.

Some more remixes of songs from the show! First up Brilliant Venture delivers an aggressive wub-filled remix of Pony I Wanna Be, with a whole bunch of cool sounds and great use of the vocals throughout the piece. The second one here is a Launchpad Pro-based remix of Under Our Spell, which is pretty solid for the most part before some awesome synth-solo stuff towards the end. Check them both out below!
