Vibrant Sound has been around for a while, but this is certainly the best I've heard from them. A dark orchestral soundscape steadily builds throughout the piece, with some steady percussion and frantic arpeggiation in the background giving great impetus to the sharp strings that play throughout. This piece definitely fits the feel of Nightmare Moon swooping in to terrorise, so if you want some of that make sure to give it a listen below the break!

Lights! Camera! Stardom! It's almost here folks! My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) will hit theaters this October and IDW is going to be paving the way with a four issue prequel mini-series!
Obviously there was a ton of questions about the series when the trade paperback collecting the series was posted on Amazon. Well, it looks like the answers to at least some of those questions are contained after the break!

And it looks like there was a slight mix-up with the last solicitation for Legends of Magic. Apparently the subscription cover for this issue got mixed up with the subscription cover for issue 2. I was kind of wondering why we had the old unicorn on a cover for a story starring the earth pony.

It is with a heavy heart that I must post the official solicitation from IDW for the final Trade Paperback collection of Friends Forever. Why did this series have to end?!
Oh yeah, Legends of Magic. Never mind!

As edgy as the name of the track might be, this new piece from Kawaii Dash is pretty interesting, and definitely not something I've really heard much of in the fandom. Combining future synths with trap-style percussion and some great vocal chops, there's also a bit of creative dissonance every now and then that helps to make a pretty unique soundscape. The auxiliary sounds are on point of course as always from KD, and overall this is a pretty neat piece worth checking out if you want some creative future music!

Another episode in the official "Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook" has been released over on Hasbro's Youtube channel. This one covers the tradition of Hearthswarming Eve in its usual cute scrapbooky style.

Galacon has just announced their first community guest that will be attending the 2017 edition of the event this summer. This year 4everfreebrony will be among those spreading some sounds through the convention.

It's summer time… in December. And Fluttershy is clearly point out the Dolphin in the ocean to Rainbow Dash. Apparently the ponies are going on vacation to Hawaii.
Anyways, the Amazon listing from yesterday that revealed a whole bunch of new information about some of the upcoming My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comics has been updated to include the cover for this issue.
For those with good memories, and eagle eyes, you might remember this cover from Andy Price's Deviant Art Page. The cover was completed in 2015, but must have been put on the back burner for an better timed release. At least that's my guess.
Either way, we could be seeing this cover come out later this summer, on Friendship is Magic #55 – 58. Or the cover could be exclusive to the Trade Paperback. We won't know for sure until the solicits come out later today (or for any of the next three months.

Some more orchestral goodness from A Symphony Of Two, a little late for Glimmer day but close enough! This piece is quite reserved in tone and sombre in feel, which could be guessed perhaps from the title of the piece. It definitely feels like Starlight's having a bit of a wander through her own mind here. Some delightful strings build up to a powerful finishing segment though, where fast-paced piano helps to create a lovely frantic soundscape. Check it out below for some quality orchestral!
