Some interesting music in this slot, with a combination of orchestral and electronic elements present in both of them. First up is a Shining Armour and Princess Cadence inspired track from ThisSideOfOblivion that starts off with some light orchestral elements, including a flute sound playing a really catchy lead melody. Later on in the track there's some sax sounds and some sort of electronic organ that really help to give the piece some depth. The second track is another from Einarx's upcoming EP, and features some beautiful violin sounds leading into a vocal chop-filled build that culminates in a heavy synth-driven drum & bass drop. Give them both a listen below!

This April, Mike Vogel joins BABSCon’s Ohana as the newest Guest of Honor! The former Hasbro VP of development and current Co-Executive Producer on My Little Pony: The Movie will be making his Brony Convention premiere at this year’s Bay Area Brony Spectacular!
Mike smashed his way onto the MLP Writing staff with the critically acclaimed “A Hearth’s Warming Tail!” After the successful holiday-themed musical, he continued his solo writing efforts with “Spice Up Your Life” and “Every Little Thing She Does!” But he didn’t stop there! Joining forces Josh Haber he also penned “Stranger Than Fan Fiction” and the season 6 finale “To Where and Back Again!”

Hasbro has released a big ol' press release covering the toys they will be showing off at Toy Fair in a few days. Included are even more movie toys to go along with the ones we posted earlier, along with higher resolution versions and full size views of each.
I'm thinking they are taking a hint from Guardians of Harmony on a few of these. That storm king is straight up boys isle. The marketing makes me thing the My Little Pony movie\ will be pushed hard on both sides.

It's inevitable really, the pony movie will have to have some background scenes at some point. We've been going strong for 6 years now, and the team over at DHX and Hasbro can't help but throw us a bone every once in a while. I have a feeling we are going to get some big ones with the movie.
They can't include everyone though. You will have to choose a pony! If you could pick one background pony to get a big ol' epic supporting role in the movie, who would it be? Should Bonbon swoop in with her team at the super secret monster agency? Or Derpy cause another catastrophe?

A new giant Twilight Sparkle toy has been slated to be displayed at the upcoming Toy Fair event this month. This one is going to be one of those big ticket items of the this fall, and doesn't come cheap at all with a $129 price tag. She is equipped with 90 unique phrases, a light up horn, movable everything, and the usual brushable mane.
Forbes mentions that this is primary a movie promotion piece, and just the tip of the iceberg in how much crazy stuff we will be seeing at the event. Considering the giant movie toy reveals earlier today, that isn't too surprising. Expect us to cover the hell out of it like every year!

More toys are popping up over on Yahoo! First up is this huge toy set comprised of Canterlot and the undersea kingdom of Seaquestria along with an official description of the set and a surprise:
Fans can recreate adventures from the movie with Queen Novo and Spike the Pufferfish figures, and this 2-worlds-in-1, 29-inch playset. Place the figures on the slide or in the bubble-shaped elevator and have them ride from Canterlot [the capitol of the ponies’ homeland of Equestria] down to the kingdom of Seaquestria or on the dance floor and spin the light up tower. The figures can also fit on the spinning octopus ride. Kids can push a button to open the treasure chest and jellyfish chandelier to hide treasure inside. The set includes 30-plus accessories for bedtime, beach time, tea time, and more!
That's right, Spike is a puffer fish apparently! Whether it is for this toy set or he is actually like that in the movie we don't quite know yet. At any rate, check after the break for some closeups!

Major news is dropping again from the My Little Pony movie staffers twitters and Facebook Pages! We have toy reveals including Sia's Songbird Serenade, Kristin Chenoweth's Skystar, and Emily Blunt's Tempest Shadow. We had all the big names on the movie reveal their characters a few days ago, so I have a feeling we are about to get hit with a flood.
Expect a lot more of these at Toy Fair. Until then, get images below!

Some belated valentines music from 4everfree, Chi-Chi and Vylet! In the first track 4everfree and Chi-Chi's vocals take centre stage with some beautiful harmonies and a great use of mandolin to play some lovely melodies. The second track focuses on Vylet's vocals, with a stripped back instrumental of acoustic guitar, piano and some lovely string sounds. Make sure to check them both out if you want some valentines feels!
