Animation, music, art, silly videos, fanfiction, and a plethora of other big pony projects are what make this fandom awesome. The constant engine of fan content keeps us afloat between episodes and while these big hiatus periods are going on.
2016 brought with it the completion of some of the biggest projects yet, with things like The Moon Rises almost becoming a monthly thing. While celebrities were falling over left and right, pony was thriving!
So, fandom of fandoms, what did you enjoy most out of the year? What piece of fandom content caught your eye the most? Was it a game release? Or simply a piece of art you've had as your desktop wallpaper since January due to how much you love it?

Ponycon has some exciting news today as they announce the Bug King himself, Kyle Rideout, will be attending his first ever pony convention! Also returning is the ever amazing Ingrid Nilson who is always a pleasure at conventions if you haven't had the chance to meet her yet!
They also will be bringing the very first Derpibooru panel to Ponycon and will be celebrating New Years in a few day!

A company over on the Philippines has apparently scooped up the Hasbro license for some higher-than-usual quality pony shoes. Right now they only seem to be advertising over on Facebook, but they have a few designs available. I'm not seeing anything sized higher than the usual kids stuff, so you might have to stick to custom stores if you want to celebrate your ponyness and have feet larger than a dwarf.

BL1NKY has been around the music scene for a while, previously going under the alias Core-Ridor and appearing on a couple of the Balloon Party albums and more recently having appeared on a couple of the Ponies at Dawn ones. He's been a bit silent recently, but he's back with a chilled out neuro-style dubstep track. The intro and break are pretty relaxed, whilst the drops are relatively mellow too and focus more on some cool neuro design than the heavy wubs you might expect.
