I bet you all expected a bat pony with permanent purple stockings and a giant red bow up here. She tends to pop up a lot when I talk about OC ponies. I used to be in the anti-OC boat, but the rise of good art and less pony creator usage has completely changed me. I absolutely love OC ponies now.

While Funko has seemingly gone silent on their primary lineup of pony figures, they still continue to expand their side sections. A new listing over on Toywiz seems to hint at an upcoming Power Ponies themed set in their Mystery Minis lineup.
Outside of that, we have absolutely no information on it. For a refresher on what Mystery Minis actually are, see subject A and B below:

I have to admit, I don't think I ever expected to see fanart of Twilight Sparkle at the top of CNN's front page. Yet here we are, in 2016, and it's happening.
I'm not going to dive too deep into the politics here, but a brief summary should get you all caught up on what is currently exploding just about everywhere. During yesterday's Republican National Convention, Donald Trump's current wife, Melania, hosted a speech for her fellow party-goers. Unfortunately, it looks like whoever wrote said speech decided to pull a section of it pretty much 1 to 1 from Michelle Obama's speech a few years ago.
In the strangest twist of fate out there, the RNC Communications Director hopped in during an interview citing a quote from Twilight Sparkle to show that similarities in speeches happen all the time. You can't make this stuff up.
The story is currently making waves over on Twitter, and as I mentioned above, on the top of major news publications around the world. Is the world ready for a Princess Twilight to take over?

Giant plushies seem to be the new norm! I remember when the first life-size plushie came out (a Rainbow Dash) and how many several thousand dollars it went for at the time. So many interesting memories from this fandom.
