Discord has always been sort of an enigma. On one hand, he's completely off the wall insane for a good amount of the time, and on the other, hes a downright genius. Newer episodes always seem to put him 20 steps ahead of everyone else. It's still a possibility that the entire season finale was planned by him at the start, allowing himself to be back stabbed to get Twilight Sparkle to evolve. He has a pretty big history with Celestia to compound that.
So, what do you think Discord's history in Equestria actually is? What do you want to see them explore with him in season five, assuming he is in it?

We have received two reports so far of Rarity, Discord and Daring Do from the Funko lineup popping up in Hot Topic's around the USA. Technically their street date was a few days ago on the website, but we haven't really seen them until now.
Be sure to call in before you make the trip just in case! You can also get them online over here.

While her panel at BUCKcon was mostly about the books and the creative process surrounding it, we got one nice little tidbit about season 5: During her panel G.M Berrow reconfirmed that she has written an episode for the upcoming season 5 and that it will be a Pinkie Pie episode. It seems we can look forward to more shenanigans from everyone's favorite pink pony in a few months.Expect a writeup for the entire panel later this week! -

What makes the pony world so amazing is how incredibly flexible it is. It has just enough of an established mythos that the world feels solid and real, but leaving plenty of mystery and magic that allows the minds of creators to go wild.
