Bronies: The Musical Extra Showings

Bronies: The Musical released to a sold out house recently and in response the team has extended the musical to two additional showings to the schedule:

 "We were able to add 2 more performances, Sunday 6/22 at 10pm and Sunday 6/29 at 4pm."

Holloween Comicfest 2014 - Free Discord and CMC Friends Forever Comic, Plus Sneak Peak at 2014 MLP Annual

A couple bits of pony comic news have arrived from the furthest reaches of the internet.  It looks like this October, for those that haven't read the CMC/Discord Friends Forever comic yet, we will be able to get it for free at loads of local comic book shops during Halloween Comicfest.  Mark down October 25th if you want it!

And in other news, the MLP Annual 2014 edition debuting at San Diego Comic Con has been detailed a bit by Ben Bates, one of the artists working on it. Expect an 8 page teaser with Power Ponies inside.

CMC Pop Toys Appear on Target Website

The Pop versions of the CMC have arrived on the Target main site.  It looks like these three are also following the "Wild Rainbow" lineup, with the tattoos all over the place.

Big Apple PonyCon Retrospective: Calpain

Back when I joined the pony fandom in early 2011 I had no idea that a scant year later I would be making my first trip to New York City for a pony convention. It was my first time ever going to a convention, let alone a pony one, and would be the first time I would put a face to many of my online friends and EqD associates. Flash forward almost two years and once again I was landing in LaGuardia to spend not only my second time in the city of my first pony convention, but spend my first time as an actual guest at a convention as well.

What followed was a perfect example of Brony hospitality, exploration, and making new friends that make conventions like Big Apple well worth visiting and that I'm proud to include as one of my many positive experiences in the pony fandom!

Welcome to another Calpain retrospective everyone! I'm gonna be busy writing these considering TrotCon is this week with EFNW following soon after. So let's dive in!

Confirmed: Trixie, Apple Bloom, and Apple Jack Bumped Up to July 4th at Build-A-Bear

We have a new release date for the upcoming pony trio at Build-a-Bear.  According to one of the submitters, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys have made them re-schedule Trixie, Applejack, and Apple Bloom to an earlier date than their original July 11th release.  Expect these three on the 4th of July instead! We don't have any specific signage to point toward, but calls to multiple stores all saying the same thing has confirmed it.

Google Books Posts Preview Pages for MLP #20 - Completely Random

It looks like Google Books is going to be the new first place for previews on this series at the rate we are going, but they are doing it in a much more random way than their iTunes counterpart usually does.  We have 7 preview pages for the upcoming 20th installment of the main series My Little Pony comics, but they are from all over the place in the actual book.  If you want to avoid spoilers completely, it may be wise to avoid clicking past the break to check them out.
