We start this one off with an excellent Orchestral/Autotuney crazy combo epic track in the firsts lot from Syphstorm, and a chillout remix of Rain from Nocholas Dominique in the second! Check them both out below the break!

Blame our wonderful US tax system for this post coming an hour later than usual! Like I'd ever miss this one.
Boast Busters came out around a time when we were getting much quicker at episode viewing. A lot of people were subscribing to the extra channels for The Hub, and very basic streams were starting to appear. It also headed the movement of listening to background music in the show, which like everything else, was masterfully crafted.
But how could I talk about Boast Busters without the greatest and most powerful unicorn in all of Equestria? The unofficial mascot of EQD, and the pony that some would argue increases your chances of getting posted by at least 50% (I swear it's not true!)? I honestly don't know what my personal first reaction to Trixie was. One part of me thought she'd lose her hat, and all the ponies would find out she's an earth pony who uses special effects to pretend she's a unicorn. That was quickly thrown out the window once Rainbow Dash decided to rudely interrupt the showmare mid act. A pony of Trixie's level can't just take that without a response.
After outclassing 3/6 of the mane cast, my two least favorite characters decided it would be a good idea to drag a giant star bear to town, ruining her life forever. Poor girl.
Overall, public reception to Boast Busters was mixed, with many finding the way the Ursa Minor was defeated a bit on the lame side. We did get to see Twilight Sparkle go near-Super Saiyan to do it though. I definitely wasn't alone in not being much of a fan of Snips and Snails, who took a pretty good portion of the episode.
In the end though, The Great and Powerful Trixie and her 3rd pony speech became a thing. We had a rival for Twilight Sparkle (Or an ixie to Twixie within some circles), who doubled as a unicorn in a wizard outfit to create [loads] [of] [epic] [fan] [art] [of].

The news folks over at WTVY have been reporting on the brony phenomenon for months now, and due to the positive reception they keep receiving, have decided to run a brony art contest for all you talented individuals out there.
If you would like to submit, the only real rule is to keep it clean. Clop and Gore will be sent to the moon. You can use their OC pony, or whatever comes to mind. Once your masterpiece is created, send it directly to [email protected], or hit up Facebook and Twitter.
According to their article, these will be aired on their "This Day in Entertainment History" section on October 10t. Good luck! -

It's not too often that Spike gets love in the merchandise department. Usually these stores focus on the ponies!
Hot Topic has added a Spike hoodie for 60 bucks. I'm sure with Winter/Autumn on it's way, we will see loads more of this stuff.

Comics World has revealed it's exclusive variants for New York Comic Con. On one side, we have the 11th comic in the series with Shining Armor and Cadance, and on the other, the 8th micro starring Celestia. If you wont be able to attend, they have online orders available for a limited time. It seems like the direct link to it may be broken at the moment, but you can get it over in the products section. -

I don't have a polish copy of GTA in front of me to test it, but a few people sent a screenshot of their version showing off the mission title above. Przyjaźń to magia directly translates to "Friendship is Magic". The English version is actually called "Friends Reunited", so it's probably a translator having a bit of fun.

Alicorn Zecora edition. That's her real reason for sitting outside of ponyville. She plans on stealing Twilight's wings and horn one of these days. Don't tell anyone I told you though.
