You all probably remember the Drawfriend post from a few days ago, where Twilight Sparkle has an unhealthy obsession with her huuuuge list. Or it could be healthy, maybe the parchment has special properties that promote a healthy coat? Who knows! You aren't here for an anatomy lesson, lets talk about this awesome Tumblr!
Twi is of course, adorkable. She also rolls with a couple of random story arcs, including a full epic meal time parody that actually turned into a Youtube video. And if you really need your sparkle fix, she even doubles and works has her own personal therapist for a while.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of THE best Ask... tumblrs out there. The art is absolutely amazing, and I LOVE the sketchy, real pencil/paper, style.
ReplyDeleteIt's got heartfelt emotional moments, adorable moments, and 'epic' moments. The Epic Meal time arc had all these.
Plus, it had a arc with 2 other Twilight tumblrs, leading to a three way WTF reality bending time.
Again, I cannot recommend this one hard enough. One of the absolute best Ask... there is.
Saw the reset of that comic from that piece at the top. Well that one Huge 'lists' she got her hooves around.

ReplyDeleteThis Tumblr has made me laugh, cry, HHNNGGHH, and laughcryhhnngghh as well.
ReplyDeleteI do not understand what arcane magic is worked into the line art but somehow these strips have more ability to impart emotion than anything I have ever seen.
The character doesn't only seem surreally real, but sucks you in telempathically and gets inside your head.
This is THE only pony ask Tumblr that I honestly believe EVERYONE should read.
I didn't know where else to put this, but since this post is Twilight related, here ya go. Apparently, Tara Strong is kind of pissed that Chris Rock flat out stated that "animation is the easiest job in the world" and talked about how he'll just go into a studio, say some stuff, and get paid millions of dollars. Yeah, if I was a voice actor, I'd be miffed too.

Sketchy Twi is easily the best in its field, next to Woonastuck and Rai's chubbies. The uncannily high amount of emotion Sketchy Twi conveys is just amazing. Good show!
