Clearly the douche-bag Trixie is the one and only personality a pony of her caliber should have.

This is actually a reference to BBC's Incredible Sherlock series, so she may be even more obnoxious than normal! But it's Pixelkitties, so the anti-Trixie people out there can just drool at the art.

I quite like the BBC's Sherlock, although I hated their Moriarty.

Is there more than the image above? Because "click for full" doesn't show any more.

He is a huge dick, but he's still likeable. I can't really explain it, but the show does a really good job of making him likeable and a dickhead at the same time.

He is a dick. Much like Dr. House, also based on Sherlock Holmes, is a complete dick too. It's part of their charm.

He was a dick in the original works by Doyle too. Watson existed pretty much entirely to get insulted and called a twat by Holmes.

Then Agatha Christie copypastad it for Poirot and people still were happy. Never understood that.

And if you haven't seen this show, you should definitely check it out. I can safely say it's one of the best things on TV atm.

As people have said, he i a dick, but in a great way. He's a genius who operates on a whole other level to everyone else around him, so he's arrogant and cold and a little bit full of himself.

Watson's there as a more regular guy to puncture his self-satisfaction when he gets too pompous. Which is always. The show works so well because Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Martin Freeman (Watson) work so well together, it's really worth a look.

I've only seen the one episode from the first season in which he appeared, but I found the whole take on the character completely nonthreatening and unconvincing. He struck me as a flamboyant Joker-ish character, which totally goes against the idea of a criminal who manages to control everything without anyone even knowing he exists.

Ah, I think after you watch season two you'll start to warm up to the character.

His performance in the last episode of season two was definitely what sealed the deal for me. His line readings were just awesome, and the acting was so slimy and menacing.

I've seen some people have say he was too flamboyant and cartoony like you pointed out, but I was definitely a fan of how he played it.

I don't like Trixie at all, but this comic is awesome. Not only does it remind me of the actual Sherlock Holmes, but it makes Trixie cool in the process. I guess Holmes has that effect on some ponies.
