ReplyDeleteI was combing through KYM an hour ago and ran into these. Good lord, the CMC truly know no limits do they? Without a doubt, this has gotta be the funniest comic I've read yet. Yes, it got a little naughty, but not too much. I don't see anything else topping this any time soon.

ReplyDeleteThe Sweetie Belle cutie mark thing reminds me of that comic in which Apple Bloom got hers, but it turned out just to be a slap on the flank from Spike. Entitled "why ponies should wear pants." Endorsed by Lyra.
Anyways, the little things (not the text, lol) like "cleanse of all foulness" got to me the most. I was cracking up, rofl.....
The comedy of this fic was rivaled only by the artwork. The pure quality was excellent. Better than most comics.
You can see that a lot of work was put into this. Bravo.

I wonder if I can keep lampshade hanging forever and I wonder how long someone can keep the need for lampshades going in the first place.
Like how unicorns all worked together to move the sun and the moon or the fact that ponies used to wear clothes a lot. Then they started turning into mixed nudists colonies around the time Celestia and Luna showed up.
Well my time is almost up and I'll have to stop posting as it's almost Valentines Day on Equestria Daily and I'm not partiuclarly upbeat on said holiday.

Ok, I can't honestly say that I never ever enjoyed this kind of humor at all, and maybe I was too harsh.
Still, for some reason I really don't like this particular example.
I love Scootaloo's reaction to the magazine. Suppose there's worse ways to find out than in the middle of performing a prank with friends.

ReplyDeleteSweetie-Belle just out of the washing machine was too cute, the "Cleanse of all foulness" setting was hilarious, the spiraling speech bubble was inspired, the "Detergent in my everywhere" conveyed a great amount of misery, and I loved Applebloom's promise to throw herself off a mountain.

#3 And at the end of the comic, Sweetie Belle threw Applebloom and Scotaloo in a washing machine to give them a taste of their own medicine! Kinda wish we saw that but overall, A++ COMIC!
@cardshark78 i dont think it was a tampon... Rarity says it isnt a sausage and scoot thought i was a third leg. I think it was something else lol :D. All in all great comics thought, i cant wait for more. And i loved that detergent line XD
