ReplyDeleteI feel bad as I've never played Yoshi's Island. I'll admit, I wasn't huge on Nintendo. At least not after the Playstation came out. I was all about the Playstation after that. But aside from that, this is really well done and adorable. It still gets me to see Pinkie cry in that episode too. :(
ReplyDeleteIt's about time somebody crossed Yoshi's Island and ponies together. It's one of my favorite games. The art style may have been too cutesy for some people, but aside the imagery is a great platformer (gee, sounds familiar somehow).

ReplyDeleteNice retelling of the episode. I always skipped the intro, so it doesn't have much nostalgia value for me. Still, music boxes somehow make everything seem more emotional.

Everyone remembers Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy it seems, that was memorable. Pinkie doesn't need balance, she spends her life in a constant state of imbalance.
The song is the same song from the Yoshi's Island intro, although I think the pitch has been shifted.
