1. Eeeeh...I'm not sure. On the one hand, it's cute and adorable because Scootaloo is too young to be thinking dirty thoughts. On the other hand...given Scootaloo's level of like for Rainbow Dash, this could just so easily be interpreted as extremely creepy.

2. Derpy...poor Derpy...although I suspect this is a common problem, not just for Derpy, but for ponies in general. Wrapping a scarf around your neck with your mouth is probably a lot harder than it sounds...and it sounds fairly hard as it is.
You guys have such dirty minds. Nothing dirty at all even came to my mind when I saw the first comic. I thought it was adorable in a sibling kind of way. I see what most are seeing it as though... yeah... lol

ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, the reason I see it as creepy isn't so much that I'm seeing Rainbow Dash as a pervert or anything...but because if Rainbow Dash found out about this dream of Scootaloo's, SHE would feel rather creeped out, because it would make her extremely uncomfortable, because she's not Scootaloo's sister and it's too easy for other ponies to...misintrepret the actions.
THAT SAID
It's definitely much more like a younger sibling looking up to an older one, and if Rainbow Dash were okay with it, I'd be okay with it. I only feel uncomfortable with it because I think Rainbow Dash would be.

Oh COME ON guys, how can you see the first one as 'creepy' in any way? It would be a little creepy if it was Dash having the dream, but Scoots having it is cute. I mean, seriously, are you telling me none of you have ever had a crush on a teacher? Ever? Not one of you? It's the same damn thing, guys. Seriously. The way the top one can be construed as creepy, is if you think Scootaloo sees herself as a filly in the dream.

There's nothing really creepy about the first one. Lots of kids get crushes on adults. And yes, they do have romantic fantasies.

2 reminds me of things... Has anyone else ever had that sort of deep snow that also has a thick coating of ice on top so that you can walk on it, but you'd crash through it if you slipped and fell? One second it's awesome, the next, it's worse than an arrow to the knee.

#1 In all fairness, Scootaloo is too young for this to be what most you seem to be thinking. If anything it looks like that thing kids do when they have a bad dream so they want to sleep next to someone... but in this case the child is Rainbow Dash.
