Hmmmmm... Brave New World has been going on for eons now and has spent almost all of its time pittering around in its largely incoherent, convenient, and somewhat dumb high school setting, taking a great premise and making it into another X-Men Evolution... but the author said he'd start making something happen this chapter I think...

I guess I may as well give it a last shot...

Two stories I read are updated? YES.

I personally don't care for Brave New World's writing, as the author doesn't seem too particularly gifted, but I'm psyched for composure. Not nearly enough Twilestia stories, and this one is, in my opinion, the best by far.

Actually, as I've stated before, this story was more of an experiment for me than anything. I've never attempted to write a story like this. Usually, I stick to high-fantasy and science fiction. I don't mind if you don't like my fanfic, but please don't judge my overall writing ability by one story, especially when that story is a fanfiction. I'm not saying I slack off when writing it, but I write it more for fun whereas I write my novels with the intention of one day publishing them. Sorry if any of this came across as hostile; it wasn't intended to be.

Anyway, I wasn't really offended, though I do appreciate your willingness to apologize in case I was. I mainly just wanted to ask that you don't assume I'm a bad writer based on this one story; however, I also have to acknowledge your point about not having any other material to base your opinion on. That being said, I am currently working on a second MLP fanfiction, and I should have the first chapter completed shortly.

Overall, I've participated in enough creative writing courses/forums/workshops to feel confident in my overall writing ability. (I really hope that doesn't sound arrogant.) At the same time, though, these past experiences have also made me painfully aware that Brave New World is not my best work. I still have fun writing it despite that fact, and there seem to be a fair number of people who enjoy it, so I still consider it worth writing, but I don't delude myself into thinking it's an excellent representation of my abilities.
