ReplyDeleteActually, I think it's "Johnny I hardly knew ye", an Irish anti-war song from 1820s that has pretty much the same melody as "When Johnny comes marching home" (Go wikipedia). This Derpy thing is only the beginning of it, though.

ReplyDeleteIt probably works both ways but the flash sounds more to me like the chorus to "When Johny Comes Marching Home" than "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" or its gory cousin "Blood on the Risers"
