Hi, I'm DanielSuperStereo and I made Funk is Magic. I understand your point as it is quite subtle in it's relation to ponies. It is based upon a short sample from Pinkie's Disco BGM in S1E26, played at half speed.

The first one is gettin' down with it's funky self. Eh, not my style honestly, but cool.

Second was nice to listen to. And kinda fun to watch too. I didn't notice what the ink blots were creating until they started to merge together. Nice.

Still not an 8-bit fan. lol But this was kinda cute. Luna probably has something to do with it. :)

Loved #1... always been a fan of some good funk.
#2 was... wow. I wasn't ready for it to end!
Never been a BIG fan of 8-bit music (even though I enjoy it) that isn't tied to video games of my youth though. Which is odd given my name.

At a brony meetup, someone started playing Luna-Dream mode, and at least two of us started singing along... I love that the music in this fandom is so community-building!

I'd do some serious bodily harm to people I don't like in order to get someone to do a PMV of #2 with some of the most touching friendship and group hug scenes. Yeah, I'm mushy. Anyway. Good post.
