The fact that, so far that it's only happened with scrolls, implies there's magic in the scrolls.
Morbid curiosity brought me to that first one's author's DeviantArt. It consists entirely of cartoon characters sneezing.

I love how the first comic distorts their faces in the most horrifying ways and had a really dull story as if FiM went back to the pre-G4 era. Nice parody and 'what-if' scenario.

Wow that wasn't an exaggeration. Literally every drawing on the artist of the first comic's deviant art is drawings of various characters sneezing.

Yeah, I don't understand this fetish. Actually, I'll stop giving a shit about the fetish and emphasize my initial complaint. The one that actually mattered.
The art... kinda creeps me out. You know why? You see all those comments saying that looks like G1 Spike? Well, Twilight also looks like she's right out of G1. People generally didn't like G1. Or maybe not. At least I know I hate G1.
The fetish? They can keep it. I'll tolerate. It won't hurt anyone by SIMPLY existing. I'll just try not to cross paths.
