So quiet all of a sudden...
ReplyDeleteI once tried to help one of my buddies at a camp. We weren't the best of friends, but we got along together pretty well. He got hurt, and he urged me to go get help for him. And so I did. I ran all the way across the camp, got help, and ran all of the way back, only to then get laughed at for caring too much. Wtf?!
ReplyDeleteI am also way too pacifistic for my own good. I can hold my own against anybody my age or less at my school, and I am the oldest guy in my class.
The only time that I ever really reacted physicallybto somebody was when I hit a kid, who was annoying me so very much, with a water bottle. This is the kid who thinks that he is a hardcore brony. For some reason, the kid started to cry. I hardly hit him. Just pointing out the fact that he was bragging about how tough he was beforehand. He is a little over a year younger than me. In response, the principal tied our legs together for the rest of the day. That's right, you read that correctly- he took duct tape and tied my left leg to his right for the remainder of the day. I was wearing shorts. He was wearing pants. The principal called it "bonding". (oh, and did I mention that he was half of my height?)
I can hold my own against anybody my age or less at my school, and i'm still the oldest in my class.
The people at the Lunar Cabinet are actually believing my Sethisto puppet???!?!??!??!??!

I have one close friend that I've known for six years, one medium-close friend that I've known since I was four years old(we're only medium-close because you know that there is too much of anything, that definitely includes contact with one person. I must know him better than his (divorced)parents by now. Seriously, there's some things he's told me that I know he would never tell anyone else), another medium-close friend that I've known for just a few years, and then I've got all of my pretty close friends from my DigiPen class. I've got a social life, but I hate it... quite possibly the most energy draining thing I have to do, and we don't play any sports or go outside. Talking to people is a really painful thing for me to do... every time I talk to someone. ADHD and Asperger's make talking on the fly near impossible for me. Another bad part of my personality is that I cannot forget or leave behind stupid or awkward things that I've said or done, no matter how much I tell myself they don't matter any more. As a result, every conversation that I have is one that I cannot forget... and I wish oh so much that I could. The only exceptions to this are my friends from DigiPen and the one I've known for six years.

ReplyDeleteI used to have lots of friends from seven to six years ago but most of us deprecated and I ended up with the drug crowd. Don't worry I never did anything I'm a drug free person 100%.

ReplyDeleteDiscord, try to get two grappling hooks before you upgrade one for an Ivy Whip. That way, you will still have a regular grappling hook, which, in my opinion, are more fun! :O!
Also, how far into the game are you, lol? You said that you started playing it a while ago, but you are only that far?

ReplyDeleteAnyways, the Eye of Cthulhu is the best first boss to start with, as it has relatively low health, and is a great supplier of Demonite Ore. After that, you go on to Eater of Worlds, which I found to be very easy after obtaining the ball o' hurt or the blade of grass. Weilding the blade of grass, I quite litterally said "COME AT ME, BRO!" , and so it did. The blade of grass is the longest weapon in the game (or was, not really sure after the HUGE expansion), so I just chopped of it's heads one at a time in a systematic way as it kept coming toward me at an equally steady pace. It way rather funny XD
Okay, when summoning a boss, be dure to do so at the beginning of the night, as it will usually disappear come morning.

ReplyDeleteOh, as for Skelegon, I just levelled an area of ground around the dungeon, summoned it, and without even using any health things, I just went with a minishark/silver bullet combo (you can buy silver bullets from am arms dealer on a Blood Moon. To get an arms dealer, you have to get a firearm - usually a shotgun - from a chest) on him and BOOM- dead. Minishark is the fastest weapon in the game, and dealing out 12's at about 3 per second, it is pretty devestating to an enemy XD

I call it a vertical shaft or mineshaft or something like that, but I heard that the official name for it is a Hellevator, as sometimes it can go straight to hell. Literally, if you dig down deep enough, you go to the underworld- EVEN I HAVE TROUBLE THERE, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU GET BETTER BEFORE ATTEMPTING.
Put water at the bottom of the vertical shaft; it'll catch you after your fall.
Wait, is your world a large, medium, or small world?
Don't waste your time on flying/floating islands until you are considerably progressed in the game
Lol, there are gills potions if you collect coral in the ocean at the edges of the map.

I was mining and a meteor came out of the sky and made my home it's home, destroying all of my chests. It was around this time that my world crashed, and the backup file got deleted

Discord, you can find the mechanic(?) underground. Usually not that far from the surface, as I found mine about halfway to one side and about 100 feet down
oh and Neptunes shell turns you into a fisperson whenever you go into water & you can do everything the same

Serioudly though, cloud in a bottle + grappling hook (or just a plain old magic mirror) will get you up a shaft very fastlike. Especially if you have a Shiny Red Balloon or Roclet Boots

ReplyDeleteAll right, we're doing a voice chat. Here's the program we'll use, it'll help differentiate between who's talking(surround sound chat environment). It's more reliable than steam chat, and it's overall just nicer than all others I've used. You have to register to use it, but it's free and I've never received emails from them or anyone else from registering at it.

ReplyDeleteAnyone of you guys that have a flexible schedule and don't get enough sleep may want to check out Polyphasic Sleep (or Uberman's sleep schedule). I'm considering doing bi-phasic sleeping (Everyman 90-minute naps sleep schedule) around 7:00 and going to bed later around 1 or 2.
