I admit, #2 made me lol.
and 4 disappointed me so much... It started off so good.
1.) Cutie Mark Crusading - Minecraft Note Blocks
2.) Twilight Sparkle talks about drugs
3.) Rainbow Dash spies on the BLU Team (More of a demonstration on facial expressions/lip sync with the garys mod models)
4.) Awesome until the end IMO

ReplyDeleteShe's Surprise, one of the blindbag recolours of Pinkie Pie. She's come to wider attention recently since someone started an 'Ask Surprise' tumblr, and because Lauren's original sketch for Pinkie Pie had her as a pegasus.
I have to say, the moment Pinkie appeared in #4 I knew exactly what was going to happen, but I found it funny anyway. I loved the expressions and poses of the models in all the videos, actually. Except the Minecraft one, obviously.

ReplyDeleteThere was a pony in an older gen named Surprise, who was essentially Pinkie but in pegasus form, was white and yellow, and had purple balloons for a cutie mark. Lauren originally wanted Pinkie to have wings and so everyone just draws the connection between the two.
This picture of Pinkie Pie being a Pegasus is an abomination!

For those interested, there's more where that came from. I have some small ideas in mind for pony animations so we'll see what I do. If the guy who made the pony spin tables releases a Spike model and that gets rigged and released for source... who knows, I might actually recreate an episode in 3D!

ReplyDeleteIts the backstab sound from Team Fortress 2. Any critical hits in that game have an electric shock sound to them. The other stabbing sounds in the video also come from Team Fortress 2.

Really liked the Blue Team thingy. The last one took me about 8 watches before I realized the implications of the video and couldn't like it anymore. I spent most of the first few times just enjoying watching Pinkie dance around. Didn't really care for the song at all.
