LMAO. All these cupcakes themes have matured my perspective on the whole subject. Its as if there is an alternate universe out there in which our favorite pink pony took a psychological trip for the worse and became this Dark Pinkamena; and now fans of her epic brutality are making tributes.

ReplyDeleteHell yeah, more insane Pinkamena music! I think she's my favorite character in the show, second to actual Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. On topic though, I really enjoyed that piece by Foozogz, he always does good stuff, saved.
ReplyDeleteThe Art of the Dress mix is almost mesmerizing, I find myself staring into their eyes and the world is at peace. The music itself is meh though.
And then the 16-bit style. We don't get many of these anymore and this one was really well done, loved it.
Ah, a nice tune to get the nightmare fuel out of my head.

Perhaps it's because I was largely raised by a gay older brother and as such grew up on music that sounded suspiciously like the first video, but I enjoyed that quite a bit! The second was indeed on the macabre side but still very nicely done (in my opinion), and I agree that the third was delightfully nostalgic. Good stuff, all around!

Oh yes, the second song is incredible as well. I'm not a big fan of these 16-bit remixes though; the 8-bit ones seem to be much more pleasing to the ear since they have a distinct sound rather than being a sort of MIDI-ish imitation thing
