I find it interesting that they show the picture but don't mention that it is Discord. I mean, the statue alone is a fairly big spoiler if you were trying to hide from them. The Chocolate Rain pictures have been vague enough that you can ignore them but this is major.

I finally broke down and watched the season 2 spoiler last night. I am now more hyped than ever, I'm actually having trouble sleeping I'm so excited. I want to see season 2 NOW! :'(

ReplyDeleteMy theory is that the CMC set Discord free by creating discord between each other(remember that they're fighting each other over a name or something)
So I'm guessing that discord in the presence of Discord frees him.

ReplyDeleteYou know how there were so many statues of pony musicians around the Discord statue in the CMC preview clip? I believe that might be foreshadowing of Discord performing an epic Villain Song during the episode (during which he may or may not bring said pony musician statues to life). I can't wait!!

ReplyDelete-WARNING: MAJOR PLOT THEORY AND PROOF SPOILER (possibly)-
ReplyDeleteDiscord is the created god of chaos in Equestria, and he spread chaos all over the world (Or just Equestria) and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna put him in a stone prison. A few years later, he takes control of the CMC (Cutie Mark Crusaders) to destroy his stone statue, in order to free himself. And because the statue was broke, Discord is back in action, and now the ponies have to seal him in permanently with the Elements of Harmony. Want proof? Check the glass-painted windows in the first screenshot (The one with all of the ponies being shocked) and see if that helps.
