Remember this? Apparently this is now a thing.
Mimic12455 has started adapting this dance style to the other ponies as well. So far, he's made a Twilight, a Rarity, a Pinkie Pie, and an Applejack. Apparently he's making them at a rate of one per day, so be sure to check back for more later. If that's your thing. I ain't judging.

Everyday. Every. Day.
ReplyDelete> furaffinity
ReplyDeleteomg these are soo cool
ReplyDeleteCool, let's check these out...
ReplyDelete>FA
Whoaaaaaa
That was close, almost clicked it
This is actually how Discord is going to retake Equestria. Party Rock.
ReplyDelete>furaffinity
ReplyDeleteNo. If somepony can host them somewhere else I'll look at them.
Who gives a buck if it's on FA? As long as I don't see anything other than the expected product I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteLinking to furaffinity bro?
ReplyDeleteThat may not be a good idea, even if this is fine.
I'd reccomend a host or something.
Erryday I'm lawlin'.
ReplyDeleteSHO SHWEET!!
ReplyDeleteLol, I don't know what the problem is with Furries.
ReplyDeleteThey appear to have such a bad rating everywhere and I don't even know why.
Oh my! If you clicked the links, you might see only the named pony dancing! The horror! THE HORROR!
ReplyDeleteStrange. Flash won't load properly.
ReplyDeleteThe reason for me not clicking on FA is not because I'm afraid of Rule 34. It's because I don't exactly like furries, notwithstanding a few [read: two or three] exceptions.
ReplyDeleteGeez guys, it's not that bad. Just click the links. V_V
ReplyDeletedoesn't even matter to me... the images won't load
ReplyDeleteThey don't seem to be working for me :/
ReplyDeleteIf you don't click any links on the FA pages you should be fine lol.
ReplyDelete"Apparently this is now a thing."
ReplyDeleteQuite a deep definition you got there!
Yes it's on FA. No it's not clop related in any way shape or form...unless your just that dang weird. Anywho, These are awesome, Twilight's is my fav so far. =D
ReplyDeleteI've never understood the aversion some people have of furaffinity.
ReplyDeleteThat said, these animations are nicely done.
Oh you have to click that download link right under the white boxes to get it to work
ReplyDeleteI'll only say this once. Don't judge. Tolerance is one thing this community can pride itself on. If it wasn't for 4chan and a very convoluted series of events, I wouldn't be posting here... and there are some who won't set foot there because of the site's reputation. I can say numerous bad things about both 4chan and FA, but it doesn't change the fact that there is content at both places worth viewing. Be selective.
ReplyDeletewhy does everypony think they're going to get aids or something by visiting FA?
ReplyDeleteP.S. They seem to take awhile to load. Up to a min at times.
ReplyDeletenice that they each got different titles.. what's for winged ponies I wonder?
ReplyDeleteThese take forever to load it seems
ReplyDeleteWell, finally got them to work. Just takes quite awhile.
ReplyDeleteThey're kind of creepy... only for the fact they look so stiff. Should have animated the torso as well.
I was dancing like this today :D
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of this the entire time.
So I just said to them all, #SWAG.
<mfw
:likeabows:
Those were pretty funny! I do know what FA is usually used for, but you guys are overreacting, it's as if you think your computer will be forever tainted by them.
ReplyDeleteOh great, I just got aids....damn
ReplyDeleteI had to click on the download link, then it loads as full screen. They really are kinda awesome. Albeit pretty much the same, with different characters.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, these are great, I hope we get a Luna one and a Derpy one too!
ReplyDeleteJeez, guys. FA filters adult and "mature" content out by default so anyone who goes to the website only sees the work marked as safe. The only way you can see any of the oogy stuff is to have an account there, log in, and explicitly change your preferences to be able to see it. Those links won't set your eyeballs on fire.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, the SWF files took forever to load for me too, but I gave it a good couple of minutes and Twilight Sparkle was shuffling away, just as promised.
Fun Fact: Furries are a delegated term for anthropomorphic characters, aka, animals with human charactoristics, ie. human speech, hands, Lyra, technology...
ReplyDeleteIt only has a bad representation because there are some who refuse to even attempt to give them the freedom to be chic, unique and magnifique in their own way. They're being judged the same way we are for liking a show aimed at early elementary kids.
Some furries hate us just as much as some of you hate them, so just suck it up and coexist.
He did one for fluttershy now too.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/6546503/
SO MUCH WIN
ReplyDeleteholy shit why do you link me to a furry porn site while i am at work. what the fuck.
ReplyDeleteThe running man is such a fun dance to do. :3 I'm glad this silly little pony trend is growing, and yay for Discord to start it all. ^w^
ReplyDeleteHuh, cool. I'm keeping the Twilight one!
ReplyDeleteToo bad FA doesn't show the "BronyAffinity: Denial is Magic" banner unless you log in, it's pretty cool. Ah well.
So, yeah. Cool stuff.
i didn't even notice it was FA.
ReplyDeleteI never used that site, even when my inner furfag was raging. <.<
Oh boohoo, Furaffinity.
ReplyDeleteJust don't click any links on there.
Lol, are you really on ED while at work? I would think that could generate just as many awkward questions if they found what you were up to.
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable are those! They certainly did take a while to load but it was worth it. I think Twilight is my favorite so far. ^.^
ReplyDeletequick...somepony make them into .gifs
ReplyDelete>go on equestria daily
ReplyDelete>oh sweet pony adaptations of discord's dance!
>furaffinity
>OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK
>NOPE.JPG
>WHY U DO THAT
>warn us next time
Fuckin Fur Affinity, can't view anything on that site...
ReplyDeleteYou guys... don't like furries?
ReplyDeleteIsn't being a brony practically a furry anyway? I mean definition wise. It's like... cousins, or something.
I wish I was here when you posted, Seth.
ReplyDeleteThen I could have dropped "Inb4 furrafinity rage"
Which you should seriously NOT link to.
WHAT IF I WAS AT SCHOOL?
ReplyDeleteWHAT IF I WAS AT WORK?
WHAT IF I WAS ON A SIBLINGS COMPUTER?
FUCK
@tectobot
ReplyDelete8/10
almost raged there
@C011in K1i3w3
ReplyDeletegeez, calm down. unless you're logged in nothing even remotely questionable will be displayed
"WHAT IF I WAS ON A SIBLINGS COMPUTER?"
ReplyDeleteYou'd find out they have an account!
It's not about fur affinity's morals. It's just a bad site. i can't seem to view anything they put up there, unless I join their stupid club.
ReplyDeleteAgain, nothing against the furries out there, nothing against rule 34, it's the site's design and the phenomena of not being able to see anything posted in it.
@hamiltonbrony
ReplyDeleteif i was at school, it would log on the filter
that i was
A. on a porn site
B. on a FURRY porn site
and zero warning
So much butthurt. So much butthurt everywhere.
ReplyDeleteSo the animations are posted on a furry website. BOO FRICKIN HOO. Everyone quit whining, grow a pair, and just enjoy the animations. If you don't want to see porn, then just DON'T go searching for it.
You people call yourselves bronies? Where's the love and tolerance?
DAMMIT, put a warning up next time.
ReplyDeleteShit, now it's in my DNS cache.
You all who are raging... I am disappoint.
ReplyDelete@C011in K1i3w3 You shouldn't even be on EqD at at least two of the three places you mentioned.
As has already been said before, you can't find anything of pornographic origin on FA without making an account and specifically choosing for it to be shown.(that's from Marshall)
@tectobot
ReplyDeleteUh, not really. Bronies are just fans of a show featuring ponies, whereas furries are fans of art featuring humanized animals to my understanding. Sure, there can be crossover, but really the two groups are quite different.
We're going to love and tolerate the shit out of everything (except furries).
ReplyDeleteThat's what being a brony is all about. /sarcasm
Seriously, I'm almost hoping these NEVER get made into .gifs just so these narrow minded bastards never get to see how incredibly awesome these are.
@Jelfes
ReplyDelete>lunch break = pony time
I would of preferred an e621 link, least there, flash frikken works.
ReplyDeleteFA is more strict than DA about censoring any form of nudity or questionable content.
ReplyDeleteDA's let countless things that would get you into more trouble than seeing dancing ponies.
@Ace2401
ReplyDeleteFurry is anything with anthro animals, talking makes them anthro. I like talking animal stories/cartoons/games. so I guess I could be called a furry, but most people equate it to sex cause of CSI....and there is a hell of a lot of freaks so yea....
@Ace2401
ReplyDeleteEr, anthropomorphic animals, not humanized, derp.
Oh, just click the links and stop complaining!!!
ReplyDelete............then, delete your histories :D
@crazyredemu
ReplyDeletelol, you ninja'd me correcting my derp
Everyone jacks off to everything these days... It's the roleplaying Gursonas that give me the jimminies some times,
ReplyDelete@C011in K1i3w3 Then it doesn't matter... if you're on lunch break on a computer at your work that is owned by that business then you're misusing company property. If you're on a laptop that you brought then it's fine and wont do anything to your company... problem solved, don't go on EqD whilst at work, lunch break or not.
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to note that this is not the first time EqD has posted ponies from FA. At least a fraction of the Drawfriend art comes from FA, like it or not. It should really be no big surprise.
ReplyDeleteLove and tolerate, everypony. Love and tolerate.
@Iron Steed The Valiant
ReplyDeleteTell that to filly6...
@Jelfes
ReplyDeletei was talking about school
i just threw in work for the older bronies
@Ace2401
ReplyDeleteNo see Im a ginger and a ninja, you just got ginja'd!
I like how the comments are freaking out about FA. Its not like you can see the things that burn your retinas without an account anyway. Pretty sure a "Build a bridge and GET THE F*** OVER IT" is in order. At least 25% of this community is involved in that one too, so either accept it or shut up.
ReplyDelete@C011in K1i3w3
ReplyDeletePretty sure no school teacher or office boss even knows what Fur Affinity is.
.... Everyday we furryin'?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteFurries ruin everything, trufax. .____.
ReplyDelete@C011in K1i3w3
ReplyDeleteYou browse EqD at those locations even thought it sometimes posts shipping stories and saucy images (some of which are even edited/censored R34)?
Apparently one year isn't enough for the very mature fandom to get over "furry cooties". At least not entirely.
ReplyDeleteHere's your FAQ:
Q: Will I be subjected to the most abominable imagery if I ever happen to visit FurAffinity?
A: If you accidentally trip over a wire, click "Register", enter correct e-mail, username, and password information, confirm your e-mail address, then log in and go into your account preferences and - purely by accident - set "Mature content filter" to "Off", then yes.
Q: Nothing is loading!
A: This wasn't a question. Also, FurAffinity is three server machines on a desk somewhere that all together get in the region of couple million visits and a few thousand submissions each day. It'll take a minute or two.
Q: I like dancing Pinkie Pie! Am I a furry?
A: This interview is over.
You're welcome. Enjoy the content! Look! It's Pinkie!
No one at my school ever had a problem with FA. I don't go looking for clop, so I have nothing to hide.
ReplyDeleteI've been yelled at for things that came-up on DA more than FA.
@Nutjob Lol
ReplyDelete@Snarling Mushroom
ReplyDeleteIf they use the internet, it's likely that they know.
@crazyredemu
ReplyDeleteAnd as far as I can tell, being a furry is more about the art, but whatever, not like I know much about it. Still, if just liking shows, stories, or games with talking animals makes you a furry, then most children could be called furries XD
@tectobot Yeah... no.
ReplyDeleteWhile there are certainly some Furries that are Bronies, not all Bronies are Furries.
They are not mutually inclusive, and it is one of the issues that, as far as I can see, will remain a sore point of hate and intolerance, from an otherwise welcoming community.
mabye to avoid another lengthly debate, in future posts seth could post the direct download link like this http://d.facdn.net/art/mimic12455/1316496433.mimic12455_dancing_pony_scene_1.swf
ReplyDelete@Tink
ReplyDeleteHaters ruin everything.
There's your truth.
@Snarling Mushroom
ReplyDeletejust because the tech people at my school don't know SPECIFICALLY what it is, doesn't mean it isn't flagged as a porn site in the schools filter, thus breaking the contract we had to sign in the beginning of the year, thus getting me kicked off of the computers and possibly have parents notified.
its not really furaffinity itself im complaning about, its the fact that there was no warning
@C011in K1i3w3 As I've already said, that is a place where you shouldn't be while at school.(sadly enough, school computers are meant for education, not ponies...) it would, again, apply to the misuse of state/private property.
ReplyDeleteFA ....canotduit
ReplyDeleteComputers, no matter where they are, exist for one, single purpose:
ReplyDeletePonies
@Fire.Esper Genius, pure, unadulterated genius.
ReplyDelete@Pinkamena Diane Pie
ReplyDeleteTrufax.
@Jelfes
ReplyDeletePonies are the education of the future.
@Pinkamena Diane Pie
ReplyDeleteExactly.
It's FurAffinity... so what?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, FA filters out the rule 34 unless you log in.
I mean come on guys, get over yourselves. Furries won't try to rape you, they won't give your sister HIV, and they won't f*ck animals. What's the big deal?
YOU SIR.. ARE MY HERO!!
ReplyDeleteI managed to not fuel or get in a argument over the funny comic about politics and Im going to do the right thing here and go to bed and not make it any worse.
ReplyDeleteGood night every pony!
Looks like the links have changed to DA.
ReplyDeleteYay.
Ya guys happy now?
Wonder how long the posters will keep ranting about FA before they notice the links have already been changed to DA.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsHxrCeDq1U
ReplyDeleteThat is all I can say

Good night every pony!"
quick, get him! He's starting problems, destroy him!!! >:D
>its on da now
ReplyDeletei checked them out now.
pretty cool
changed from 2 star vote to five star vote
crysis averted
omg, just noticed the fluttershy one, she's my favorite one so far. Can't wait to see Dash shufflin
ReplyDeleteEveryday we fur-ragin'.
ReplyDeleteOK, crisis averted.
ReplyDeleteThey look all right, but something's off about them. They look stiff. Maybe make the torso move with the rest of their bodies?
Learning HTML, totally gonna make an instant shufflin' button.
ReplyDeleteSeems like there's a lot of disapproval over Fur Affinity. I actually wanted a chance to address this a bit.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the hatred is so much at furries as much as it is at the idea that Furries are trying to lump Bronies in under their general banner.
Let's face it, as far as internet image goes, that is NOT good for us. At all.
And in regards to the preaching with Love and Tolerance, let's face it, at the end of the day none of us are perfect with this, it's Human Nature to try to judge others. And if I'm correct Love and Tolerance was only designed as an Anti-Troll weapon to start with.
Using it as the basis of a positive charitable movement is a good use, using it to allow any group of people to run amok and propagate a bad name for others is simply not good business.
It's bad enough some people try to lump Bronies and Furries together from the start, as from what I see they're two very different groups.
good lord, look at all the furrage around here, it's pouring out!
ReplyDeleteThat'll teach you to link to Furaffinity! Everyone knows humanity as a whole sucks and cannot handle anything outside of what they are used to!
ReplyDelete@Dirt
ReplyDelete... or maybe someponies don't want to be linked to (in a website sense and in the sense of how others perceive us) to people who may enjoy sexual images of half human half animal hybrids.
but thats just like, my opinion man
Awesome animations, also, lol at the FA rage. It's just pathetic how people have so much blind hatred towards furries, even 'love and tolerance' bronies. I mean truthfully now, its just sad.
ReplyDeleteAlso, DA has more adult rated images then FA does. So does google image search. Are you worried that someone will log your history that you were on Google Images? Because you have a infinitely higher chance of accidentally hitting porn links there then you do clicking when you click a direct link to a FA page from this site.
@Dirt
ReplyDeleteYes, all of us were used to gushing about cute little ponies before this show. Although, I do agree about humanity sucking....I wanna be a pony.
@Desktop1030 Makes sense. I get why people don't want to be affiliated with furries because of their history and how media portrays them.
ReplyDeleteI like this new thing. New things are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteIn response to all the fur raging, here's a quick quote from the ever poignant Linkara:
ReplyDelete"Get over it internet! Not everyone has the same preferences as you!"
Because seriously guys. You're Bronies. If nothing else you know what it's like to be hated simply for liking something outside of the regulated norm, is it really the right thing to do to treat another community the same way we so despise to be treated?
I don't really "get" furries, and I don't totally understand the community of their various subcultures enough to speak on the subject, but everything I've seen is people talking about something they enjoy or are interested in, and they aren't hurting anybody by doing it. Can it get weird? Most certainly, but that can be said for ANYTHING on the internet.
Bottom line, treat others the way you wish to be treated.
Woooow, didn't think furry hate was still so insanely huge in a community based around love and tolerance. Though to be fair there are certainly no penises on DA... nope, none at all.
ReplyDelete@Desktop1030 If someone thinks that we're furries then oh well. People also genuinely think that we're poedophiles, I think that's a much worse thing to be called. If someone doesn't get that liking a show doesn't "make" you anything, then that's their own problem, not yours. We don't need a pr department, we only need to be nice to everyone like we've always done. Smart people recognise that. Stupid people may need more convincing but again, that's their own problem.
@Nämahs
ReplyDeleteonce again, google is unlikely to be flagged as a porn site, even thought technically you could get porn,
same with deviant art, although less so.
FA on the otherhand is almost certain to be flagged as porn, and luckily this was posted late so i couldn't have been at school, but i might of had to have a very akward conversation with the IT people, and my parents about it.
I don't specifically hate furries, in fact, i can deal with like cat ears and shit on my porn, its just
1. i don't want bronydom to be associated with it, its already hated because its "girly"
2. just a warning. that is all i would need. i go on during school, see the warning, avoid like the black plague until i get home.
Wow.
ReplyDeletePost a comic about being the master of your domain, bronies chuckle.
Post a comic about politics, bronies chuckle.
Post links to dancing ponies on FurAffinity, bronies enter "OMGWTFBBQ KEEP IT AWAY" mode.
I've been posting in various furry-related online fora since 1994 (though I've become a lot less active over the past several years, for the obvious reasons); as dysfunctional and misguided as large parts of the fandom have become, there's still a lot of good, sane furries putting out good work, including MLP art.
I know (better than most of y'all, trust me) that I wouldn't want to be in the same state as quite a few furries, much less the same room; still, is it too much to ask that y'all not lump all furries in that same basket?
(As for the issue of not wanting FA to show up in the browsing history of the computer you're using, I agree with Jelfes that if that's the case, you probably shouldn't use that computer to access EQD either.)
@C011in K1i3w3 I am not a furry but I tolerate them.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure we, as a civilization, have accepted that gays are born that way and its not their choice what they are attracted to. If we as a society acecpt that, why are people so OMFG FURRIES KILL IT WITH FIRE.
And being gay is a much stronger lifestyle change for society to accept too. It actually affects your entire lifestyle and people realize what physical acts you perform when you are label yourself as gay. Meanwhile, being a furry affects NOTHING to people around you. Why the hell should it bother anyone what goes through your personal thoughts when you clop at night or whatever?
I seriously just don't understand why people are so anti furry. It makes absolutely no sense why this one particular fetish is so singled out. "Oh you have a scat fetish and cover yourself with 'stuff' in the shower? That's cool man, I lick dirty feet covered in foot bacteria as my fetish. Oh god, that guy is 100% normal and takes no action other then has strange thoughts when he clops! Furry! Kill him!"
My above post wasn't really directed at C011in K1i3w3, I can see his point from his latter posts and it makes sense. My argument still stands for general furry haters though.
ReplyDeleteActually, I think this video sums up the comment thread quite well
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP1-oquwoL8
@C011in K1i3w3: "or maybe someponies don't want to be linked to (in a website sense and in the sense of how others perceive us) to people who may enjoy sexual images of half human half animal hybrids."
ReplyDeleteYes, we just want to be linked to people who may enjoy sexual images of half toony half animal hybrids. ;) (And I'm not talking about the saucy stuff that shows up in most Drawfriends, which would be bad enough in the eyes of the general population; there's a lot of ponyporn out there.)
@Nämahs
ReplyDeletelook, i get where you are coming from.
BUT the problem (at least for me) is not the furries themselves (i actually have friends who are furries and are pretty cool dudes) its the fact that we don't want to be associated with things we are not (that includes your examples of scat and foot fetishes)
also the whole not warning us to where it was linking to, (but they fixed it pretty quickly so its cool)
@C011in K1i3w3
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the set up was the same at my high school as it is for yours, but generally if something is flagged for any reason, it's just blocked, and you have to go to a different web page or close the window.
And as for your theory that we shouldn't be associated with furries in any way because idiots already irrationally hates us...that just doesn't make sense. If we constantly try to defend ourselves against people who have already prejudged the community as a whole, all we do is let others dictate how we can enjoy something, rather than making the decision ourselves.
@jodyjm13
ReplyDeletewell... i don't really want the fandom linked to that either...
but hey, its rule 34, ive been on the internet long enough to know that I should expect it.
Wow. Lot of Furry hate from the Brony community. Unfortunate to see, coming from one who happens to be both.
ReplyDelete... not that I expected to see such comments in here.
I came to see dancing ponies!
@NDupree93
ReplyDeletefor me its
1. blocked
2. logged
3. sent to principal for evaluation
4. sent to parents
5. gets around the school
6. some dick posts it on facebook
7. life forever akward and ruined
8. ????????
9. profit
to the second thing:
that wasn't the point i was trying to convey. i was talking about people who look on us from outside, but don't nessisaraly (bad speller) hate us, but don't really know whats up (hell i was very skeptical going into the show) but if they think we are just a bunch of furries, they will avoid us like the son of satan
just saiyan
@C011in K1i3w3
ReplyDeleteI feel confident in saying that if they're the type of person so close minded as to immediately and irrationally hate furries, they likely aren't the type of person to give this show a chance either.
Granted, as it's been shown in some other comments there ARE bronies who don't grasp the irony of hating on a community in exactly the same irrational and ignorant way we ourselves have been treated on many sides of the internet.
Those defending those furries, you don't know how much THEY hate US.
ReplyDeleteYou have to be there to know. Yknow Alvin Earthworm? I don't even wanna talk about what he says about us.
You expect me to "love and tolerate"?! Love and tolerate my ass! How do you expect me to do that?! In fact, stop shoving words down my throat. I NEVER told anyone to love and tolerate. That's something YOU GUYS made up.
Hey, you wanna know what they think of us? The haters? They think we're wimps!
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? :D
@C011in K1i3w3: "we don't want to be associated with things we are not"
ReplyDeleteTrust me, I understand that completely, but it's not something we can control. Even if EQD and all other popular pony sites specifically forbid linking to any furry sites, there will still be people who think of bronies as being a subset of furries because, hey, ponies. Just like there's going to be some people who, if they read my comment above, will think I'm into beastiality or fursuit sex or some such nonsense.
Stereotyping's a bitch, but there's not a lot we can do about it. It's just up to each individual to act in a way that belies the stereotype.
(Going slightly off topic, that's why I'd rather not see saucy images on EQD; unless they're really porny, they don't bother me personally, but people outside of the fandom would probably assume that, since we display those images, we must like the rule 34 stuff too.)
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteSome furries hate Bronies, so ALL bronies should hate ALL furries? Is that the logic you're trying you use here?
Listen, when somebody starts acting ignorantly and irrationally towards you, responding with hate only reinforces their opinion that you're somebody to be against. While it's certainly true that many won't change their minds about something just through you being respectful and not responding to their goading, at the very least you avoid resorting to their level.
It's not about respecting somebody who's against you, but having the dignity and respect for yourself to handle yourself like a mature individual, rather than resorting to immature back and forth with somebody who's already not willing to listen.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteObviously not all furries hate bronies, since there've been a few self-confessed furries posting in this very thread, and there's quite a lot of MLP art on FA.
As for the haters, I don't give a flying fickle finger of fate what they think about me. I've been trying to "love and tolerate" pretty much my entire life, with varying degrees of success; if someone wants to call me a wimp for doing so, then I'll thank them for noticing.
@jodyjm13
ReplyDeletei agree, ive joined the brony fandom pretty recently, and i definitely wasn't expecting the pony cola pictures when they came up.
but, hell ive been on 4chan since i was 13 (i know, i know, i shouldn't have) so i dealt with it. but other people definitely wouldn't.
i agree that saucy images shouldn't be allowed on equestria daily. ponybooru on the other hand is fine.
and yes, people do judge harshly, heck the only reason i gave the show a shot was because i was trying to troll a brony, and he acted very respectfully and gave me reasons why he thought the show was great. im so happy he did.
@jodyjm13
ReplyDeleteThis.
I had an experience today where a guy I'm pretty decent friends thought I was insane for a good fifteen minutes when I mentioned the fact that I watched FiM. Eventually, I worked him back down to (I think) accepting that I wasn't losing it entirely, but I know that I won't be able to convince everyone of that. I've been in this fandom long enough to know what I sighed up for, stereotypes and all, and I'm comfortable with that. One of the skills I'm most happy I possess is the ability to differentiate between people whose opinions I value and people whose opinions are completely useless to me, and anyone who judges me based on my watching the show and refuses to let me give my side falls firmly into the latter category.
Aaaand Fluttershy!
ReplyDeletehttp://torcher999.deviantart.com/art/Everyday-I-m-Flutterin-259709488
In other news,
ReplyDeleteI hope to see a dancing Rainbow Dash. =)
@Flutterfan
ReplyDeleteFurries hate us.
Alvin Earthworm, creator of Super mario Bros. Z and a furry artist, hates us and encourages his fans to attack us.
It's unreasonable to 'love and tolerate' haters.
Don't call me a hypocrite because I never demanded others to love and tolerate.
In fact I discourage it, because haters think we're wimps.
@NDupree93
If only SOME furries hate us, I wouldn't be saying this.
The only thing ignoring them will reinforce is the thought that they can fuck with us all they want.
I'd say the opposite that it's better you respect them. But attack them out of necessity. We really need to fight back. And not like some immature kid either. Good counter-arguments can be made, if that's what you mean.
-----
Ok, there's a few more responses, I'll get to those next.
UMM..SERIOUS A FURRY ISSUE?!?!?!.....wow..wheres the tollerance amongst the bronys?
ReplyDeletebeing a brony your GOING to be subject to being classified as a sub culture of furry no matter what you may think or do...do you know WHY?!?!?..for the first part pony ARE FUR!!!! secondly cartoon based now lends you into the cultur further than you realise..next up you have the plushy end of the spectrum.....accept it and accept the world with great tollerance instead of making yourself a further steriotyping problem
furrys are generaly peacefull loving tollerant well furs...the same way twilight sparkle would EXPECT all of the bronys to be....
brony ..furry...i really dont see the differance...the art, the cartoons, the custom models, the plushies, and now youve got pony FURSUITS popping up...i look at pic's from the cons etc and i see a bunch of fur's who have labled themselves as bronys and good for them
the ONLY differance i see between bronys and furs is 1 thing..furs generaly base everything off a WIDE range of animals be it cartoon and mythical ..horses dragons ponys wolves atc..bronys are based off a single limited item MPL
seriously take a set back and look at the cultures..and id be willing to bet you have more furs and closset furs here than you do "pure" MLP ONLY bronys......
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteAlvin doesn't like us? Aww...
Oh, I love that song. Coincidentally, it was stuck in my head earlier today. I knew it, it was a sign of awesome dancing ponies! Of course. What else could it have possibly meant? :)
ReplyDeleteThese are simply adorable. Absolutely adore them. <3
@DeRockProject Some bronies irrationally hate furries. Some furries irrationally hate bronies.
ReplyDeleteIt's hilarious in a an ironic sort of way, because it shows just how much two fandoms are the same: still using petty stereotypes (that are already used against them) while they preach "Love and tolerance".
At the end of the day, some of the best furry artists out there do so much for the brony fandom, and so much of the best brony artists do so much for the furries, even if you won't know it unless you check the source.
Sometimes we all just need to be shown a little kindness.
I love you both, guys. Keep doing what you do.
Also, apparently in after a lot of drama about furries and bronies and yada yada, I dunno and don't care.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many people just hate FA because it's an AWFUL site, and maybe.... just Maybe... if furries had a better central hub people wouldn't have such knee jerk reactions.
ReplyDelete@DeRockProject
>>Lists one hack artist
>>Tries to rally internet rage.
Cool Story Bro
@Octavia
ReplyDeleteThat may be for the best.
@DeRockProject Haha! "Attack"? Really?
ReplyDeleteInternet pillow fight, you guys!
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteSo if I can find at least 1 furry who doesn't hate bronies, I win? *scans the previous comments* Welp, that was easy. GG. Care to play again?
@Woof Hooves
ReplyDeleteDon't you DARE fucking mix us with those FAGGOTS.
1. There never was, and never SHOULD be tolerance among bronies.
2. Are you kidding me? So we all fap to MLP shit now?
3. Furries are NOT like that. They troll EACH OTHER for Christ's sake. And they troll any non-furries by shoving their 'religion' in our faces.
@Paraducks
Also, don't call him a hack artist. He's an asshole, but that says nothing about his talent.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteSo which fandom's Rarity and which fandom's Applejack?
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea. A FPS browser-based pillow fighting game sounds awesome!
@Crunch
ReplyDeleteSorry, have you FRIED your logic circuits? hehehe...
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteObvious troll is obvious
@Crunch
ReplyDeleteLet's talk about the part that didn't make any sense.
"So if I can find at least 1 furry who doesn't hate bronies, I win?"
No.
@jodyjm13 Ow, my brain. Okay, let's weigh our options...
ReplyDeleteRarity:
-Sophisticated
-Beautiful
-Generous
Applejack:
-Hard-working
-Powerful
-Honest
No, I still have no idea.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDelete"If only SOME furries hate us, I wouldn't be saying this."
Nope, but apparently you did. Spotlight fallacy anyone?
@Dirt
ReplyDeleteYknow what else they say about bronies?
Whenever they get ANY critism, they shout TROLLZ! I couldn't say anything against them.
@Crunch If someone actually made this, there would be no more arguments on the Internet.
ReplyDelete"Jews did 9/11!"
"Pillow-fight!"
"WOOHOO!"
"YAY!"
Wow an alright series of ponies doing the walking man and half the comments have turned into arguing about the furry/brony relationship...oh well at least its entertaining to read
ReplyDelete@Crunch
ReplyDeleteOh man, different pillows could have different attacks. Like, those stupid little couch pillows could fire out in a spread of three.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteIf I had any programming skills, I'd get right on that.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteThat sucks. I haven't watched SMB Z in a while, but when I did, I enjoyed it.
@Paraducks
ReplyDeleteAnd those full-body pillows could be a rocket launcher equivalent! Or at least some sort of heavy weapon.
Yeah guys, I think it's safe to just leave Derock to his own devices. Anything we say is obviously just going to be ignored or CAPSLOCKed at.
ReplyDeleteI should think him, actually, for being a perfect example of the type of people I referred to earlier.
@Paraducks & @Crunch To the Bronymobile!
ReplyDeleteOh wait, I can't code either. The future of peace on the Internet depends on us, you guys!
I really should be going to bed, but this thread is far too entertaining. Pinkie Pie, where's that popcorn?
ReplyDeleteI shall become the Furry ambassador. All of your hatred, come unto me!
ReplyDeleteMwa haha!
@Crunch
ReplyDeleteYeah! If there is any brony programmer with some spare time, get on this totally boss idea!
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteIf we throw in a pony or two, we'll be sure to get featured on here. Maybe instead of a red team and a blue team, make it Applejacks and Rarities.
BTW I have no problem with those links going to FurAffinity. That was seriously an overreaction, we can all agree on that.
ReplyDelete@Crunch
Spotlight fallacy... actually, furies who are part of the brony community probably get disproportionate spotlight in EqD.
What I mean is not ALL furries, but MOST furries. Had to spell it out for you, didn't I...
Yeah, it's sad. I was a big fan of Alvin Earthworn and Deceased Crab, but they both hate bronies.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteAnd thus the RAEG returns for another spin around the block. At least I'm around for it this time.
1. The show itself never mentioned love or tolerance, but that phrase has become a moniker for our general strategy towards dealing with trolls, which I consider to be the best possible solution. Remember the old adage: "Fighting on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics - even if you win, you're still retarded."
2. Technically speaking, the term "furry" can be applied to anyone who enjoys art and fiction involving anthropomorphic animals. The component of that group you're so tactfully referring to as "those FAGGOTS" simply refers to people who derive sexual pleasure from such animals. It is true that a large number of those people have a massive persecution complex that contributes more heavily than they'll admit to the Internet's general hatred for them, but this fandom contains very, very few of those types based on what I've seen. You're overreacting to a non-issue. I mean, I guess you were doing that the whole time, IMO, but in this particular case I think it's pretty much non-negotiable.
3. Are you really saying that we don't troll each other? Ever heard of Spiderses? And are you really saying that there aren't some of us that shove this craze in everybody's face like it's their own personal religion? Were you around here when those radio shows started making fun of us?
I have this nagging that this is a pointless endeavor, but screw it. I'd rather argue about furries than do homework any night.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteQUICK, For the good of the internet, everybody here has to switch their major to game design.
@Aquaman52
ReplyDeleteI should be doing homework to. This is far too fun though.
@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteMy cousin actually did the animations for Quake 4. I think he works for a different gaming company now, but maybe I could get him to do it. (Not really, but it would be a fun idea).
@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteDamnit, Dupree! I'm a writer, not a programmer!
@Aquaman52
ReplyDeleteYou made a very good point:
"3. Are you really saying that we don't troll each other? Ever heard of Spiderses? And are you really saying that there aren't some of us that shove this craze in everybody's face like it's their own personal religion? Were you around here when those radio shows started making fun of us?"
Anyway, we can't just do nothing about what people think of us. You don't know how much brony-haters there are. Once a conversation about MLP starts in a place unrelated to it, there are immediately more haters than bronies. And yknow where the conversation goes to. Unanimous bashing of bronies.
BTW, if you guys think it's entertaining just reading the thread, you should read it while listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aLR-8c11ms&NR=1
ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty accurate
@Aquaman52
ReplyDeleteWe all have to do our part in this war, for how else may we one day know peace?
@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteFantastic.
Don't make me write a design document for a pillow-fighting game, you guys. I already wrote one for a program that will never be made, shameless plug: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VsyxjgCjp-DzbJZjtkPJklNqcVv0GSiOQ1vvlrAslZY/edit?hl=en_US
ReplyDeleteHowever, if a game that features Rarity VS Applejack pillow-fighting action does go into production, you'll have all of my support and all of my money.
Also such a game MUST include Fluttershy. Just picture it. Go ahead.
@NDupree93 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWhQC1jqBII
ReplyDelete@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteI already had a tab open with that on it 0_0
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteFluttershy would be the civilian you'd lose points for hitting.
@Crunch Fluttershy would turn into Flutterrage if you hit her.
ReplyDelete"NO!"
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteMy god THANK-YOU, there's way to many people who've adopted such a hostile pretense against FA. I'm just happy to see at least one person who knows how FA actually operates.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteMaybe throw in a discord "power-up" that reverses the controls for all other players.
>Post about dancing ponies
ReplyDelete>Thread devolves into NETRAEG
>Thread reassembles into Video games and Pillows
Sometimes I absolutely fucking love this fandom.
@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteIt's the best one around.
@Flutterfan
ReplyDeleteNothin's ever gonna keep us down!
Guys... WHAT THE FUCK...
ReplyDelete...
...
...
AH FUCK THIS...
Yknow what? Speaking of games, I really liked this concept.
http://transformerrobot.deviantart.com/art/Pony-Slaying-258078572
The origin is... kinda depressing, but it's an ok idea don't you think?
No wait don't click it yet!
ReplyDeleteThe volume is really loud.
@Crunch
ReplyDeleteyou get half of my internetz now. so...you get 186.5
@DeRockProject
ReplyDelete...so you ARE a troll then?
@Flutterfan
ReplyDeleteWhat no!
*stares at the hate posts* You know, at one point I was technically a furry. (I designed anthropomorphic characters and roleplayed them online.) But I was of the sane variety, not the crazy. The group I hung out with was pretty decent as well. Mostly our posts were silly and light-hearted, not the least sexual.
ReplyDelete190 Comments over this? COME ON MAN. Ignore the "neighsayers" unless they bring up a valid point if their just slinging mud around don't pay them any attention.
ReplyDeleteMORE DANCING PONIES
ReplyDelete@DeRockProject
ReplyDeletePosts game about killing ponies on equestria daily comment
claims not to be troll...why do I believe you?
