But because she was around the age of rarity, she would be about the same age as the mane six, not as an old mare of a teacher.

ReplyDeleteWhy would the Prince of Persia be a pegasus? The entire point of the Prince of Persia games is environment traversal, and that's mostly lost when your character can fly. I mean, it's a cool picture, but think, darn it!

ReplyDeleteI loved the 80s pic - and I dont see how it matters whether Twilight is as old as Cheerilee or not. I prefer Cheerilee (and Ditzy) to be an older generation than the mane cast, but this is clearly some AU made just because it is awesome. (And now I want to see ponyfications of some 80s stuff. Breakfast Club? Miami Vice? Hey, Pinkie ALSO has an alligator...)

ReplyDeleteYeah I know - there may be some discrepancies with the age groups depending on how you look at it. And I doubt Twilight would've even gone to a normal high school party in Ponyville being caught up at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns the whole time. But honestly it was kind of just a concept to see what some of our fave ponies would be like if they lived in the 80s, not intended to be completely accurate to the show.
Not to mention I needed a nerdy personality to be all hyped about the election and Twilight kinda fit the bill there. ;)
