ReplyDeleteFor all those who don't get the Fluttershy bean one it's from a series of commercials starring Mameshiba. The name has several little jokes in one. The words for bean and dog are included and also the entire word sounds similar to the word for trivia. The commercials are pretty funny in a weird way.

MY GOD HE GOT GRIM!!! The predator has defeated death itself, which is why Pinkie is still talking even though her head's been mounted on the wall.

Predator's probably regretting taking Pinkie right now. I love the details in that last panel: Grim's skull (from Billy&Mandy) as a candle holder, the Pi symbol under Pinkie's head, the muffin article... And what's with the fez? Is Predator a Doctor Who fan? :P

I thought it was short for Pinkie, and then I thought it was because she doesn't stop any sooner than pi does, and then I realized the last bit. Genius. And the whole sense out of randomness thing with completely random pi actually meaning a lot to mathematics.

ReplyDeleteregarding 2nd comic: Glue is actually very rarely made from animal products at all anymore since synthetics are much cheaper and more effective, gelatin's usually cow/pig bones since there's a surplus of those from the meat and leather industries, and the same goes for dog food.
