I've posted these before, but I fogured I'd compile all of them. They are just short, sappy comics about the Grand Galloping Gala. You can find them below, hopefully working and in order.

personally I always figured that the reason why Twilight and Celestia entered the hall shortly before the rampage was that they had finished greeting the newcomers.

Awwww, Rarity's comic made me shade some tears <3 I hope Spike gets to dance with her in season 2.

I was going to make a comment about the fact that they are all naked in the last comic, then I realized that they don't usually wear clothes. I had a bit of a Rarity moment there.

ReplyDeleteThe early ones were a bit too sappy and convenient for my tastes, but in the end the series won me over, and I now find them quite charming. Kudos to the artist!

Way, way too sappy. It honestly looks like each of the mane cast took turns being Mary Sue of the comic.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind happy endings, but these were way overdone. The only thing that was lacking to true MS status was Celestia adopting them.

If and when ever they make an episode of MLP:FiM where Twilight Sparkle and her five friends try being rock singers in a group, how they appear on page 6, I bet, will be what they'll look like (only they'll be playing guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, etc. instead of dancing).

I agree that it had too much Deus ex Machina but last one was very daaaw worthy
The comics might be sappy, but they sure do fit the feeling of the show! I now accept this as what actually happened after the Gala.
