In Hungary, I was watching it from the balcony :)

Moon was very low in the beginning (not to mention it was barely visible) so couldn't see it from the street. Just stood outside, turning around, confused

"Where the hay is that F*beeeep* Moon?!"
      "Is Celestia trolling me?!"

But yeah then I got to the balcony and saw it. Was interesting indeed :) Thanks to Cereal who posted about it a few days ago, otherwise I would probably have missed it.

My lunar eclipse experience went something like:

      >Hear about eclipse
      >Attempt and fail to convince others to come out at 5am to watch it
      >Go out alone to see it
      >Find others all crowded together, viewing the eclipse
      >Make new friends
      >Go to bakery afterwards at 6am, acquire cupcakes

I'm sure there's an MLP episode plot in there somewhere...

I went out walking for about an hour yesterday night to go catch the eclipse.
It was cloudless night here except for a ridiculously long one that blocked out the moon for several hours <.<

Went out during my break from work, all excited about the eclipse, only to see the whole sky covered with clouds. What the hell Ireland? It was clear and sunny all day until about 7:30 and then BANG, wall of clouds.

Sorry, Luna. Next time for sure.

^ Same here. Yesterday it was all shiny and good, then suddenly today it's super rainy.

Yeah, the December. Better clouds should not be on the sky or I'll banish them in the moon!

I didn't go out to see it. The moon would be hidden and that would not nice on Princess Luna.

      Also complete cloud cover helps

I'm sure that the whole North America not being able to see it was part of Empress Celestia's plot to make us hate Luna. It ain't working missy >:I

Stationed over in Iraq at the moment, and the night was relatively dust-free, so I had a nice view of it.

The eclipsed Moon doesn't go totally dark; it reflects a little diffuse light that works its way around the Earth's rim. The result is the Moon appears a different color each eclipse due to differences in the Earth's atmosphere at the time. I've seen them come in copper-red, orange, dirty yellow, and even purple.

This one was a dark yellow, almost green--quite unusual, I thought.

English brony here. Got all ready to see the eclipse only to discover a layer of cloud completely blocking the sky. Only got a glimpse of the end of the eclipse.

The pegasi over here are such slackers. Can't even keep the sky clear for one measly night grumble grumble

Couldn't see it either. I'm too far up north, near the polar circle. so the sun barely goes down and the moon is barely over the horizon. so no eclipse for me.

I live in the northern part of the Netherlands, I asked my cousin to come over and then we went to watch the eclipse at the beach close to my house, it was really fun, even thought we couldn't see much of it cause of the clouds blocking our view.
Like cameronstalker said, the lazy pegasi did a lousy job that night :P
The sky was clear all the rest of the week, so I am disappoint.
