ReplyDeleteNo mayor is as bad as the Townsville mayor. He hired a babysitter from prison, and gave them a full pardon, just because he wanted to play Zelda. (Of course, it was the Powerpuff Girls that were babysat so it isn't THAT big a deal, but still...)

ReplyDeleteYeah, they never really made it clear what Angel's gender is. In the show, it seems as if he's male. The toy(that comes with brush-able Fluttershy)on the other hand, clearly shows Angel's a girl.
For the most part, I think Angel's a boy as well.

While Fluttershy snapping at Angel is something he deserves (just leave him Fluttershy, come live with me, I'll love you better!), it's disconcerting to see swearing coming from a pony. It's just... wrong.

Yes it is not cool to see our fave Mares and Fillies swear . . . its funny as HAY when they do. Wrong? yes! Funny? HAY YES!!
I substitute the cursing myself . . . colt of a brood, hay, road apple stuff like that . . . i used them in context and it seems just as dramatic to me . . . my fav is the colt of a brood substitution n.n i made that one up from knowledge. YAY USELESS FACTS!
We've found out exactly what the animals see whenever Fluttershy gives the Stare now i think. No bloody wonder most cower instantaneously.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only person who actually LIKES Angel? I mean sure, he's a prick, but he does his bit to help. He's like Fluttershy's confidence, which also explains why he's not seen so much.

You need to put a warning up the next time you put up such a large comic. My computer can barely handle crap that big! It was funny, though.

ReplyDeleteI actually think Angel Bunny is great. He's a bit of a prick but he's funny. Plus he's not always a jerk to Fluttershy in a few instances he's been helpful to her like in Ticket Master and A Bird in the Hoof.
#1 HAHAHAHAHA Funny basically what would happen in real life if you came with that kinda attitude at the wrong person and you where just a small guy(bunny) xD

If you were the mayor of a town that was home to a group of super powered individuals, Everything you do would be overshadowed by them. They probably do things when no body is looking but we watch the shows for kick ass moments, not a mayor reading a tax audit of the postal system.

ReplyDeleteThat's the point of the whole comic and what makes it so funny.she's not suppose to act like that which is hilarious. It's just a bit of dark humor is all. Not everyone will like it. Just saying.
I like it. It's a good way to point out that Lauren Faust incorporates elements from her old shows (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and The Powerpuff Girls).
