Due to this warning of friendship and apocalypse I'd like to extend an invitation to all to seek shelter in my post-ponypocalypse fortress. No amount of anti-pony raiders will be able to infiltrate a well barricaded REI. That being said don't actually bring any ponies, there's no room and they'll only end up being left outside.

The article says that for the year 2011 it will be celebrated on August 7 instead of July 30. So make note of any extravaganza that may be in the works shoot for then.

ReplyDeleteWe're hoping to get a gathering going this year to gauge interest and just have an overall epic time. There are plans in the works to make it a full-on convention in the future. It isn't all that unrealistic.
The U.N. is way off. Friendship Day, AKA Magic Day is on Dec. 6th, as stipulated in the list of Elements of Harmony holidays. The closest such holiday to July 31st would be Kindness Day on August 6th. And BTW, Laughter Day is only 6 days away! Time to stock up on pink cupcakes and balloons.
