Are you badass enough to set your Facebook/steam/twitter/whatever picture as a pony?!
Well this event hopes you are!
In an attempt to locate other potentially hidden Bronies, an anon over at ponychan has declared April a MLP Picture month!
You can find the Facebook event below, as well as the Ponychan thread.
Fortunately everything I own is already pony, so I get to slack off.

I can slack, too. My pic has been Derpy for weeks.
ReplyDeleteNope.

@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThen make a dummy FB account with your location or something just to let other /b/ronies know you're out there!
Also, something I've done has caused an Equestria Daily post to come into existence.
MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE.
My FB is already a pony.
ReplyDeletenobody made fun of me for it, even the rednecks I knew in highschool said nothing
My dad saw it and doesn't care.
I think it's because I'm Metal.
and Metal doesn't care if you like shows made for little girls, as long as they are good
Well I've got half a month, I'll try to muster up the courage.
ReplyDeleteAlready done. I think I employ this Happy RD image everywhere I reside online. Don't have a Facebook, but I kinda like that "dummy FB account" idea in the interest of regional solirarity.*
ReplyDelete*solidarity is no longer the correct spelling as of 10/10/10, deal with it
Looks like most people already have had a pony pic. Myself I been using Baby Derpy trying to fly with mailbags.
ReplyDeleteDone, and staying as my-body-is-ready Rarity until I find something better! :D
ReplyDeleteMy picture on MSN, Steam, Skype and every forum has been ponies for months.
ReplyDeleteSlowponies.
i've had my facebook picture as ponies for a long time now.
ReplyDeletehaters gonna hate
@Zarkanorf
ReplyDeleteDo you possibly maybe by chance have that picture without the text/pink fog?
I have been searching for it..everywhere. It literally doesn't exist in the episode either, someone modified it for the facial expression.
My Facebook pic has been me-as-a-pony for a while. My coworkers seem bemused.
ReplyDeleteI would, but I haven't used facebook in a heck of a long time, lol. I'm something of an antisocial networker, lol.
ReplyDeleteI use animated MLP avatars and a MLP sig on all the forums I'm a regular poster on, though.
Mine has been a pony for awhile now. But yea, will totes still have a pony pic up in April.
ReplyDeletemy xbox live gamertag is Sonic Rainboom, itouch wallpapers of rainbowdash, fb pics gallore with mlp pics... uhhhh lol
ReplyDeleteMy Twitter pic is already a pony. :P
ReplyDeleteI had RD avatar on a forum were many people I know IRL. I don't really use failbook or twitter so it wouldn't make much difference. I really like my Mr. DeMartino Steam avatar but I guess I can change it for April.
ReplyDeleteI already had... everything as ponies.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've had ...everything as ponies as well... including my login screen.
ReplyDelete(btw, here's how to customize your login screen with ponies if you run Windows 7 -- http://tweaks.com/articles/39468/customizing-logon-screen-background-in-windows-7/)
And I figured all of the really awesome fans would already have ponies anyway, so this is a really good way to connect really awesome fans with other really awesome fans on FB anyway. Since FB doesn't have an option to search for people with MLP pics. Sadly. And never will. :(
Is it considered cheating if I pick a recognizable yet non-pony character?
ReplyDeleteNot facebook...But I will change Twitter/steam/google ones.
ReplyDeleteI must kill the ponies!
ReplyDeleteNo Facebook, you are the ponies.
And then Facebook was a Rarity.
It should have been Pony Avatar Month
ReplyDeleteway back in December. I've had ponies
everywhere since then.
I now nominate it becoming International
Sing and Dance Pony in Public Month.
The laughter of Pinkie must be spread!
Sounds a laugh, for extra points put your favorite pony 'under people who inspire you' and at least one pony quote under 'Favourite Quotations'.
ReplyDeleteNobody with a penis is going to do this.
ReplyDeleteTelling a friend of yours is one thing, advertising it online?
You're just asking for hate and trouble.
I find it funny that a show subtitled "Friendship is Magic" is one of the main things that would cause your friends to be scared of and not like you anymore.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteNobody with only a penis is going to do it. Balls are also required, sir.
Also, tbh, if your friends would hate you/be scared of you for something innocent then they're pretty shitty friends.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteDing ding ding, this Anon's got it. If you're friend can't put up with your faults, they're either not a worthwhile friend, not a friend at all, or extremely homophobic to the point that they can't just ask you to confirm/deny things enough that they can save the friendship (thus making them a poor friend, still).
Unless they have a phobia of ponies or something. Good friends don't stop being friends over that kind of thing. They ask for small compromises in their company, but won't stop you from being you on your time.
And if anyone gives you BS for being too old for cartoons, ask them how old they think the animators/directors/layoutartists/designers/writers/VAs/investors are.
ReplyDelete@Retl
ReplyDeleteI think the only case where you're allowed to like cartoons in the main demographic for us posters (18-30 yr olds) is if it was made in the 90's and people grew up with it. Even then, unless it's something like SP or on [AS] most of if not all of my friends are just mature "past" cartoons.
I was watching Ed Edd & Eddy the other day on tv and got called a child for it, likewise one of my friends said it was "weak" that I was looking forward to a Mickey Mouse game last year.
I hear that whole "well if they can't like it they're not your friend." If that was the case then I personally know I wouldn't have any friends. I still think it's better to keep a show like this, no matter how well made it is, to yourself. Most (not all) people don't care about the actual quality of something, they judge things based on the name alone.
I've had OC ponies all over everything pretty much since I reinstated my facebook. Done and done.
ReplyDeleteI've had applederp.gif as my av for eternity.
ReplyDeletewell... I have time to think about it
ReplyDeleteI've been switching between Celestia, Luna and Scratch for weeks now. I already got this.
ReplyDeleteMy facebook/everysingleforumprofile pictures are already ponies...
ReplyDeleteThe best part is that any and all relevant images have already been Rainbow Dash saluting the American Flag.
ReplyDeleteI particularly enjoy the fact that my birth month is MLP Picture Month. XD
already set my fb pic to rarity, and my middle name is my oc pony name
ReplyDeleteDoes spike count?
ReplyDeleteI've had my Facebook picture set to Applejack/Rainbow Dash for over a month now. So yay!
ReplyDeletei have ponies as my avatars almost everywhere already.
ReplyDeleteso yea...
I was already rainbow dash on facebook for like, months. You guys are the slowpokes
ReplyDeleteI'm in! Don't use FB but I'll just change it's profile avatar.
ReplyDeleteI just changed my Steam avvy to that Derpy Standby picture.
ReplyDeletedam... this will be hard... but I will do it.
ReplyDeleteEverything I have has been filled with Ponies with the exception of this one since i'm a Mule.
ReplyDeletedoes it have to be a pony?, can you use other FiM characters?
ReplyDeleteOf course I'd do it if I were a brony. I did the "Make yourself a Pokemon/cartoon character/whatever" ones, too. And I actually have a MLP image in my profile pic album...it's the group shot with the main 6 and Celestia. Alas, I'm a chick--but I still intend to use pony profile pics again in the future. Right now I've got my dog surrounded by plush Peeps (the bunny- and chick-shaped marshmallow candies) in honor of spring.
ReplyDeleteJust changed it tonight. :3
ReplyDeleteTotally forgot about pony picture month to facebook!
