Generation 4 of pony was pretty much the dream for any animation company out there, and especially for a toy company. Having such a crazy popular cartoon in the girls segment just doesn't happen often at all. It has also done a pretty good job of steering budgets toward better kids programming in general over the last decade.
G5 probably has just as much investment. How do you think the initial hype for it will play out? Will everyone that enjoyed the mane 6 flock back and dive in? Or do you think most that watched it have outgrown pony?
It is just a month away from 2021, and over the years many of us have made loads of friends thanks to this silly horse cartoon. People we will probably interact with for the rest of our lives.
How did you do over the last decade? What is your current official friendship count for people that also like colorful ponies?
We are planning a new poll. The greatest poll ever. Friendship is Magic has some of the most iconic designs of any cartoon out there. It's one of the big things that kept a lot of us interested in the show for so long. Lauren Faust struck gold with her initial pitch.
Plenty of other characters have appeared throughout the years though, from the awesome looking bug queen Chrysalis to the glorious Kirin master race. Who takes the top spot for absolute best designed character?

Friendship is Witchcraft introduced the idea as a joke ages ago, and over the years it has kinda spawned a very small mini-fandom of it's own. It grows and dies based on what is released within, but the concept still remains.
Our favorite hypothetical Hasbro executive has returned once again from a board meeting demanding more technological presence in pony to appeal to zoomers. He recommends Sweetie Bot. How would you make it work? Do you go all in turning her into a badass robot on the run trying to discover why she exists? Or is it more down to earth and silly like the Friendship is Witchcraft version?

We all like ponies for different reasons. Some aim for the cutest possible ones. Some are all about the personality and don't care what form they take. Others are more into the design, with Luna here having no personality at all for years yet still growing a crazy following, partially due to fandom, but fueled by her mysterious moon look.

Of all the ponies we've seen rockin' costumes and outfits over the years, Rarity has been #1. She has tried on more clothes over the course of the series than any of the other ponies, with various hair styles to match.

We never really got our beach episode did we? The comics explored the concept, and we got a few clips with ponies like Luna chilling in the sun, but never an actual dedicated one with our favorite mane horses staying an exotic beach resort or doing anything else you'd do on a beach.

It is officially Pinkie Pie Day! We had 10 great years of her crazy party-filled shenanigans, but that wasn't nearly enough to explore all of the potential stories we could have gotten out of her. Luckily we have the manga and the comics still, with the manga in particular seemingly favoring her as a major character.

Good news! Our hypothetical future has arrived, and we just got a big reveal about generation 5! It turns out, Hasbro wants to do a full-on toy line dedicated entirely to accessorizing super high quality life-size pony plushies, with loads of potential designs if people seem interested.

Celestia once said in the comics that she actually hides her power level in order to allow Twilight Sparkle to grow and improve. As far as we know, this over thousand year old princess has some pretty epic spells at her disposal. Considering she can move solar bodies, we probably never got to see what she is actually capable of.
So what do you think she could do if she unleashed the full power of the sun? Or is she really just super weak and easily conquered requiring the stronger Twilight to come in and save her flank repeatedly?
Background Ponies are the best part of the show, but hundreds of them have gone pretty much ignored. It seems like over time, the fandom lost interest in adopting them for our own purposes. Most of the biggest ones were created way back during season one and two.
