is branching out to another realm, and is proud to announce Susan Egan.
Who is Susan
Egan? You have likely heard her voice at least once in your life. Susan is best
known for her Tony and Drama Desk nominated role as the original “Belle”
in the Broadway musical Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She has likewise
headlined in Thoroughly Modern Millie, won critical acclaim as “Sally
Bowles” in Cabaret, and delighted audiences in Triumph of Love
and State Fair.
Broadway not your
thing? What about Disney animation? Susan Egan was the voice talent behind “Megara”
in Hercules, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! Besides Meg,
Ms. Egan was the singing voice of “Angel” in Lady and the Tramp 2:
Scamp’s Adventure. Besides her Disney credits Susan Egan has also worked on
Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli projects voicing ‘Gina’ in Porco Rosso
and ‘Lin’ In Spirited Away.
Her most notable current work to cartoon fans? Voicing Rose
Quartz, Steven’s mother and leader of the Crystal Gems, on the Emmy and
Annie nominated television show Steven Universe by Rebecca Sugar.
